There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,

一个虔诚人，他和全家都畏惧神，多多施舍给百姓，常常向神祷告。
是一个虔诚人，他和他的全家都畏惧神，他施舍许多给人民，并且总是向神请求。

A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.

有一天，约在第九小时，他在异象中明明看见神的一个天使进去，到他那里，说，哥尼流。
约在那天的第九小时，他在异象里明显地看见神的一个天使来进到他那里，并对他说，克尼流斯。

He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.

当他看他的时候，就害怕，说，主啊，什么事呢？天使说，你的祷告和你的施舍达到神面前，已蒙记念了。
当他看他的时候，他就害怕，说，主，这是什么？然后他对他说，你的祷告和你的施舍，已经作为一个记念，上来神面前了。

And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.

现在你要差人往约帕去，请那西门来，他又被称为彼得。
现在派些人到雅法，去叫一个人西门，他的姓是彼得；
现在你当打发人往约帕去，请那称呼彼得的西门来。
And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:

他住在海边一个硝皮匠西门的家里。房子在海边上，他会告诉你应该怎么作。
他与一个硝皮匠西门住在一起，他的房子在海边；他会告诉你应该做什么。

He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.

And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually;

And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa.

On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:

他觉得非常饥饿，想要吃。但在他们正预备的时候，他魂游象外，
他就变得非常饥饿，想要吃；但在他们准备的时候，他落入了一个神游，

And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,

看见天开了，有一个器皿降到他那里，好像一块大布，绑着四角，缒在地上，

And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:

里面有地上各样四足的兽和野兽，爬行之物并空中的飞禽；
里面有出于这地的所有样式的四足的兽，野兽，和爬行物，以及空中的飞禽。

Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

又有声音向他说，彼得，起来，宰了吃！
然后有一个声音来到他那里，彼得，起来；宰了，吃。
又有声音向他说：“彼得，起来，宰了吃！”
And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.

但彼得却说，主啊，这是不行的！我从来没有吃过任何俗物或污秽的物。
但彼得说，主，不能这样；因我从来没有吃过任何普通的或不洁净的东西。
彼得却说：“主啊，这是不可的！凡俗物和不洁净的物，我从来没有吃过。”
But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.

第二次有声音向他说，神所洁净的，你不要称作俗物。
那声音又第二次对他说，神洗净的，你不能叫做普通的。
第二次有声音向他说：“　神所洁净的，你不可当作俗物。”
And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

这样一连三次，那器皿就被收回到天上去了。
这样做了三次；那器皿就被接受上去进入天上。
这样一连三次，那物随即收回天上去了。
This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

当彼得里面正在猜疑他所看见的异象是什么意思时，看啊，哥尼流所差来的人已经找到西门的家，站在门外，
现在，彼得里面正疑惑他看见的异象是什么意思时，看啊，克尼流斯派来的众人已经打听到西门的家，并站在大门前，
彼得心里正在猜疑之间，不知所看见的异象是什么意思。哥尼流所差来的人已经访问到西门的家，站在门外，
Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate,

喊着问：有被称为彼得的西门住在这里没有？
就喊，并问，西门，他的姓是彼得，是否在这里住。

And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.

While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.

因此起来，你下去，和他们同往，不要疑惑，因为我差了他们。
因此起来，你下去，和他们一起去，不要疑惑；因我派了他们。
起来，下去，和他们同往，不要疑惑，因为是我差他们来的。”
Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.

然后彼得下去见哥尼流派来见他的那些人，说，看啊，我就是你们所找的人。你们来是为什么缘故？
于是彼得下到从克尼流斯被派到他这里的人那里；说，看啊，我是你们找的人；你们是为什么原因而来？
于是彼得下去见那些人，说：“我就是你们所找的人。你们来是为什么缘故？”
Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?

他们说，百夫长哥尼流是个义人，一个畏惧神的人，为所有犹太国民所称赞。他蒙神借一位圣天使警戒，叫他请你到他家里去，要听你的话语。
然后他们说，百夫长克尼流斯是个公正的人，是一个畏惧神的人，在犹太国所有人当中都有好名声，他被神借一位神圣的天使警戒，让他派人请你到他家里去，要听你的话语。
他们说：“百夫长哥尼流是个义人，敬畏　神，为犹太通国所称赞。他蒙一位圣天使所指示，叫他请你到他家里去，听你的话。”
And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.

然后他就请他们进去，住了一宿。次日，彼得起身和他们一起去，还有约帕的几个弟兄和他一起；
于是他就叫他们进来，让他们住下。次日，彼得就和他们一起走，还有雅法的一些弟兄们陪同他。

Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.

又次日，他们进入凯撒利亚，哥尼流已经请了他的男亲戚们和密友们等候他们。

And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and he had called together his kinsmen and near friends.

And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.

But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

彼得和他说着话进去，见有许多人在那里聚集，
就在他和他说话时，他进去，就发现有许多人来到一起。

And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together.

就对他们说，你们知道，犹太人和别国的人亲近来往，本是一件不合律法的事，但神已经指示我，无论什么人都不要称作俗或不洁净的。
然后他对他们说，你们知道犹太人和其它国家的人作伴或去到他那里，都是不合法律的事；但神已经显给我不要把任何人叫做通俗的或不洁净的。
就对他们说：“你们知道，犹太人和别国的人亲近来往本是不合例的，但　神已经指示我，无论什么人都不可看作俗而不洁净的。
And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

所以我被请的时候，就不推辞而来。现在请问：你们叫我来有什么意思呢？
因此我一被你们邀请，就没有推辞来到你们这里；因此我问你们，请我来的意图是什么？
所以我被请的时候，就不推辞而来。现在请问：你们叫我来有什么意思呢？”
Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?

哥尼流说，四天前我在禁食直到这个时候，第九小时我在家中祷告，看啊，有一个人穿着光明的衣裳，站在我面前，
克尼流斯说，四天前我断食直到这个时候；在第九小时我在我家里请求，看啊，有一个人穿着明亮的衣服站在我前面，
哥尼流说：“前四天，这个时候，我在家中守着申初的祷告，忽然有一个人穿着光明的衣裳，站在我面前，
And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,

说，哥尼流，你的祷告已蒙垂听，你的施舍达到神眼前已蒙记念了。
说，克尼流斯，你的祷告被听见了，你的施舍已经在神的眼里蒙了记念。
说：‘哥尼流，你的祷告已蒙垂听，你的周济达到　神面前已蒙记念了。
And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
32
你要派人往约帕去，叫西门来，他又被称为彼得，他住在海边一个硝皮匠西门的家里。当他来的时候，便会对你说话。
因此派人到雅法，去叫西门来到这里，他的姓是彼得；他在海边一个硝皮匠西门的家里住；当他来的时候，他会对你说。
你当打发人往约帕去，请那称呼彼得的西门来，他住在海边一个硝皮匠西门的家里。’
Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.

所以我立刻派人去请你。你来了很好；现在我们都在神面前，要听神所命令你的一切事。
因此我立刻派人到你那里；你来了真好。因此现在我们都在神面前，要听神命令你的所有事情。
所以我立时打发人去请你。你来了很好；现今我们都在　神面前，要听主所吩咐你的一切话。”
Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.

然后彼得就开口说，我真看出神是不偏待人。
于是彼得打开他的口，说，事实上，我意识到神是不重视身份的；
彼得就开口说：“我真看出　神是不偏待人。
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35
但在各国中那畏惧他、行义的人都为他所悦纳。
而在每个国家里那畏惧他，又做正义工作的人，都是被他接受的。
原来，各国中那敬畏主、行义的人都为主所悦纳。
But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
36
神借着耶稣基督（他是万有的主）传讲和平，将这道给以色列儿女。
神借着耶稣受膏者，（他是一切的主；）传讲的和平，即神传给以色列孩子们的这话；
神藉着耶稣基督（他是万有的主）传和平的福音，将这道赐给以色列人。
The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
37
我说的这话，你们也知道，在约翰传讲的浸礼以后，从加利利起，传遍了犹太。
我说，你们知道，这话在整个犹迪亚都被宣扬遍了，是在约翰传讲浸礼以后，从加利利开始的；
这话在约翰宣传洗礼以后，从加利利起，传遍了犹太。
That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;

神怎样以圣灵和能力膏拿撒勒人耶稣，这都是你们知道的。他四处行善，医好一切被魔鬼压制的人，因为神与他同在。
神怎样以神圣之魄和权力膏抹了拿撒勒的耶稣；他就到处去做好事，医治一切被魔鬼欺压的，因神与他在一起。
神怎样以圣灵和能力膏拿撒勒人耶稣，这都是你们知道的。他周流四方，行善事，医好凡被魔鬼压制的人，因为　神与他同在。
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

他在犹太人之地，并耶路撒冷所行的一切事，有我们作见证。他们竟把他挂在树上杀了。
并且我们就是他在犹太人的土地，和耶路撒冷做的一切事的见证人；他们把他杀了并挂在一棵树上；
他在犹太人之地，并耶路撒冷所行的一切事，有我们作见证。他们竟把他挂在木头上杀了。
And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:

第三天，神叫他复活，显现出来；
神在第三天使他复活，又公开显出他；
第三日，　神叫他复活，显现出来；
Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;
41
不是显现给众人看，而是显现给神预先所拣选为他作见证的人看，就是我们这些在他从死里复活以后和他同吃同喝的人。
不是给所有人民，而是给神之前选择的见证人，就是给我们，这些在他从死复活以后和他一起吃喝的人。
不是显现给众人看，乃是显现给　神预先所拣选为他作见证的人看，就是我们这些在他从死里复活以后和他同吃同喝的人。
Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

他命令我们传道给众人，证明他是神所立定的，要作活人、死人的审判官。
然后他就命令我们去向人民传讲，又去证明那被神命定作复活的人和死人的审判官的，就是他。
他吩咐我们传道给众人，证明他是　神所立定的，要作审判活人、死人的主。
And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

众先知也为他作见证说，凡信他的人必因他的名接受众罪的赦免。
众预言者也给他作见证，即无论谁通过他的名相信了他，就能接受众罪的赦免。
众先知也为他作见证说：‘凡信他的人必因他的名得蒙赦罪。’”
To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

彼得在说这些话的时候，圣灵降在一切听道的人身上。

While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

那些奉割礼、和彼得一起来的信徒，见圣灵的礼物也浇在外邦人身上，就惊讶；
然后那些受割礼相信的人都惊讶，包括每一个和彼得一起来的，因为神圣之魄的礼物也被倾倒在了外邦人身上。
那些奉割礼、和彼得同来的信徒，见圣灵的恩赐也浇在外邦人身上，就都希奇；
And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

因听见他们说方言，称赞神为大。然后彼得回答，
因他们听见他们用众语言说话，并凸显神。于是彼得回答，
因听见他们说方言，称赞　神为大。
For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

这些人既领受了圣灵，与我们一样，谁能禁止用水给他们施浸呢？
这些人已经像我们那样领受了神圣之魄，什么人能禁止水，不让这些人被浸呢？
于是彼得说：“这些人既受了圣灵，与我们一样，谁能禁止用水给他们施洗呢？”
Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

他就命令他们在主的名里受浸。然后他们又请求他停留了几天。
然后他就命令他们在主的名里被浸。于是他们请求他停留了几天。
就吩咐奉耶稣基督的名给他们施洗。他们又请彼得住了几天。
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
