波斯王居鲁士第三年，有事显给名为伯提沙撒的但以理。这事是真的，但定时是长的；他理解这事，明白这异象。
在波斯王塞如斯的第三年，有件事被揭示给被叫作贝尔提沙扎的但尼尔；这事是真实的，但指定的时间是长的；并且他理解这事，又理解这异象。
波斯王居鲁士第三年，有事显给称为伯提沙撒的但以理。这事是真的，是指着大争战；但以理通达这事，明白这异象。
In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

在那些日子，我但以理悲伤了足足三个星期。
在那些日子里，我但尼尔哀痛了足足三个星期。
当那时，我但以理悲伤了三个七日。
In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.

美味我没有吃，酒肉没有入我的口，也没有用油抹我的身，直到满了整三个星期。
令人愉快的饼我没有吃，酒肉也没有进入我的口，也根本没有膏抹我自己，直到满了整三个星期。
美味我没有吃，酒肉没有入我的口，也没有用油抹我的身，直到满了三个七日。
I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

正月二十四，我在底格里斯大河边，
在第一个月的第二十四天，我在那伟大的河边，就是西底克尔。

And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel;

举目观看，见有一人身穿细麻衣，腰束乌法精金带。
那时我抬起我的眼睛观看，见有一人身穿着麻布，他的腰用乌法兹的精金束着；
举目观看，见有一人身穿细麻衣，腰束乌法精金带。
Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:

他身体如水苍玉，面貌如闪电，眼睛如火灯，手和脚如光明的铜，说话的声音如大众的声音。
他的身体也像绿柱石，他的脸就像闪电的外貌，他的眼睛像火的灯台，他的手臂和脚的颜色像抛光的铜，他话语的声音像一群大众的声音。
他身体如水苍玉，面貌如闪电，眼目如火把，手和脚如光明的铜，说话的声音如大众的声音。
His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

这异象唯有我但以理一人看见，与我一起的人没有看见这异象。他们却大大战兢，逃跑隐藏，
并且这异象只有我但尼尔看见了；因与我在一起的众人没有看见这异象；而是有一个巨大的震动落在他们身上，从而他们都逃跑把自己藏起来了。
这异象惟有我但以理一人看见，同着我的人没有看见。他们却大大战兢，逃跑隐藏，
And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.

只剩下我一人。我见了这大异象便浑身无力，面容失色，毫无气力。
因此我被单独留下，就看见这大异象，然后我里面没有了强力；因我的清秀在我里面变成了败坏，并且我无法留住强力。
只剩下我一人。我见了这大异象便浑身无力，面貌失色，毫无气力。
Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.

我却听见他话的声音，一听见他话的声音，就面伏在地沉睡了。
然而我听见了他话语的声音；当我听见他话语的声音时，于是我就伏在脸上进入了一个深睡，并且我的脸朝着地面。
我却听见他说话的声音，一听见就面伏在地沉睡了。
Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.

看啊，有一手摸我，使我用膝和手掌支持微起。
然后，看啊，一只手碰了我，使我用膝盖和手掌支撑着。
忽然，有一手按在我身上，使我用膝和手掌支持微起。
And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.

他对我说，大蒙眷爱的但以理啊，要明白我与你所说的话，只管站起来，因为我现在奉差来到你这里。他对我说这话，我便战战兢兢地立起来。
然后他对我说，但尼尔啊，一个大大蒙爱的人，要领悟我对你说的话语，站起来；因我现在被派到你这里。当他对我讲了这话时，我就颤抖着站起来。
他对我说：“大蒙眷爱的但以理啊，要明白我与你所说的话，只管站起来，因为我现在奉差遣来到你这里。”他对我说这话，我便战战兢兢地立起来。
And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.

他就说，但以理啊，不要畏惧。因为从你第一天专心求明白将来的事，又在你神面前刻苦己心，你的话已蒙垂听；我是因你的话而来。
于是他对我说，但尼尔，不要畏惧；因从你第一天专心去领悟，又在你的神面前管教你自己，你的话语已被听取，我就是因你的话语而来的。
他就说：“但以理啊，不要惧怕！因为从你第一日专心求明白将来的事，又在你　神面前刻苦己心，你的言语已蒙应允；我是因你的言语而来。
Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.

但波斯国的君拦阻我二十一天。忽然有大君中的一位米迦勒来帮助我，我就停留在波斯众王那里。
但波斯王国的王子抵挡了我二十一天；但是，瞧，首要的王子中的一个，迈克尔，来帮助我；我与波斯的众王一起留在了那里。
但波斯国的魔君拦阻我二十一日。忽然有大君（就是天使长；二十一节同）中的一位米迦勒来帮助我，我就停留在波斯诸王那里。
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

现在我来，要使你明白本国之民日后必遭遇的事，因为这异象关乎后来许多的日子。
现在我来使你领悟，在后来的日子里，什么事会落在你的人民身上；因这异象是给许多日子的。
现在我来，要使你明白本国之民日后必遭遇的事，因为这异象关乎后来许多的日子。”
Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

当他向我说这些话，我就脸面朝地，哑口无声。
当他向我说这些话语时，我转脸朝向地面，并且我成了哑巴。
他向我这样说，我就脸面朝地，哑口无声。
And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
16
看啊，有一位外貌像人的众子的，摸我的唇，我便开口向那站在我面前的说，我主啊，因见这异象，我大大愁苦，毫无气力。
然后，看啊，有一个像人的众子的相似体，碰了我的唇；于是我就打开我的口向那站在我面前的讲，说，我主啊，因这异象，我的忧愁转到我身上，并且我无法留住强力。
不料，有一位像人的，摸我的嘴唇，我便开口向那站在我面前的说：“我主啊，因见这异象，我大大愁苦，毫无气力。
And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.

我主的仆人怎能与我主说话呢？我一见异象就浑身无力，毫无气息。
因我这个主的仆人怎么能与我这个主说话呢？至于我，我里面直接没有留下任何强力，我里面也没有了呼吸。
我主的仆人怎能与我主说话呢？我一见异象就浑身无力，毫无气息。”
For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.

又有一位外貌像人的来摸我，使我有力量，
于是又有一个像一个人的外貌的来碰我，并且他加强了我，
有一位形状像人的又摸我，使我有力量。
Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
19
说，大蒙眷爱的人哪，不要畏惧，愿你平安。你总要坚强。他向我说了这话，我便觉得有力量，说，我主请说，因你使我有力量。
又说，大大蒙爱的人啊，不要畏惧；和平归给你，要强壮，是的，要强壮。当他向我讲话时，我就被加强了，就说，让我主讲吧；因你已经加强了我。
他说：“大蒙眷爱的人哪，不要惧怕，愿你平安！你总要坚强。”他一向我说话，我便觉得有力量，说：“我主请说，因你使我有力量。”
And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.

他就说，你知道我为什么来见你吗？现在我要回去与波斯的君争战，我去后，希腊的君必来。
于是他说，你知道为什么我来到你这里？现在我要回去与波斯的王子交战；当我走了，瞧，希腊的王子会来。
他就说：“你知道我为何来见你吗？现在我要回去与波斯的魔君争战，我去后，希腊（原文是雅完）的魔君必来。
Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.

但我要将那记在这真理经文上的事指示你。除了你们的君米迦勒之外，没有在这些事上扶助我的。
但我要把被记录在这真理的书文里的事显给你；并且除了你们的王子迈克尔以外，没有一个在这些事上和我一起坚持的。
但我要将那录在真确书上的事告诉你。除了你们的大君米迦勒之外，没有帮助我抵挡这两魔君的。”
But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.
