你出去与仇敌争战的时候，看见马匹、车辆，并有比你多的人民，不要怕他们，因为领你出埃及地的耶和华你的神与你同在。
当你出去与众敌人争战的时候，看见马匹和战车，并有比你多的人民，不要害怕他们；因为带你出埃及的土地上来的主你的神与你在一起。
“你出去与仇敌争战的时候，看见马匹、车辆，并有比你多的人民，不要怕他们，因为领你出埃及地的耶和华你　神与你同在。
When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

你们将要上阵的时候，祭司要靠近并告诉百姓，
要这样，当你们来靠近战场的时候，祭司要上前对人民讲，
你们将要上阵的时候，祭司要到百姓面前宣告
And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,

对他们说，以色列人啊，要听，你们今天将要与仇敌争战，不要畏惧，不要战兢，也不要因他们惊恐；
要对他们说，以色列啊，听，你们今天与你们的众敌人争战；不要让你们的心昏软，不要畏惧，不要颤抖，你们也不要因他们惊恐；
说：‘以色列人哪，你们当听，你们今日将要与仇敌争战，不要胆怯，不要惧怕战兢，也不要因他们惊恐；
And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;

因为耶和华你们的神与你们一起去，要为你们与仇敌争战，拯救你们。
因为与你们一起去的，是主你们的神，要为你们攻打你们的众敌人，来搭救你们。
因为耶和华你们的　神与你们同去，要为你们与仇敌争战，拯救你们。’
For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

官长也要告诉百姓说，谁建造了新房屋，还没奉献，他可以回家去，恐怕他阵亡，别人去奉献。
众官员要对人民讲话，说，有哪个人是建造了新房子，还没奉献它的？就让他走，回他家去，以免他死在战斗里，别人去奉献它。
官长也要对百姓宣告说：‘谁建造房屋，尚未奉献，他可以回家去，恐怕他阵亡，别人去奉献。
And the officers shall speak unto the people, saying, What man is there that hath built a new house, and hath not dedicated it? let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man dedicate it.

谁种葡萄园，还没吃所结的果子，他可以回家去，恐怕他阵亡，别人去吃。
有谁种了葡萄园，还没吃它所出的？就让他走，回他家去，以免他死在战斗里，别人去吃它所出的。
谁种葡萄园，尚未用所结的果子，他可以回家去，恐怕他阵亡，别人去用。
And what man is he that hath planted a vineyard, and hath not yet eaten of it? let him also go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man eat of it.

谁聘定了妻，还没迎娶，他可以回家去，恐怕他阵亡，别人去娶。
有哪个人是聘了妻子，还没娶她的？就让他走，回他家去，以免他死在战斗里，别人去娶她。
谁聘定了妻，尚未迎娶，他可以回家去，恐怕他阵亡，别人去娶。’
And what man is there that hath betrothed a wife, and hath not taken her? let him go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man take her.

官长又要进一步告诉百姓说，谁惧怕胆怯，他可以回家去，恐怕他弟兄的心发昏，和他一样。
众官员又要进一步对人民讲话，他们要说，有哪个人是畏惧，心又昏软的？就让他走，回他家去，以免他众弟兄的心也和他的心一样昏软。
官长又要对百姓宣告说：‘谁惧怕胆怯，他可以回家去，恐怕他弟兄的心消化，和他一样。’
And the officers shall speak further unto the people, and they shall say, What man is there that is fearful and fainthearted? let him go and return unto his house, lest his brethren's heart faint as well as his heart.

官长告诉完百姓，就派军长率领他们。
要这样，当众官员对人民讲完时，他们就要立军队的众军长带领人民。
官长对百姓宣告完了，就当派军长率领他们。
And it shall be, when the officers have made an end of speaking unto the people that they shall make captains of the armies to lead the people.

你临近一座城、要攻打的时候，先要对城里的民宣告和睦的话。
当你来靠近一座城要攻打它的时候，那时要对它宣告和平。
“你临近一座城、要攻打的时候，先要对城里的民宣告和睦的话。
When thou comest nigh unto a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it.

他们若以和睦的话回答你，给你开了城，城里所有的人都要给你效劳，服侍你；
要这样，如果它以和平回答你，向你打开，那么要这样，其中所有的人民都要给你进贡，并且他们要服务你。
他们若以和睦的话回答你，给你开了城，城里所有的人都要给你效劳，服侍你；
And it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace, and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that is found therein shall be tributaries unto thee, and they shall serve thee.

若不愿意与你和好，反要与你打仗，你就要围困那城。
如果它不与你达成和平，而是要与你争战，那么你就要包围它；
若不肯与你和好，反要与你打仗，你就要围困那城。
And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:
13
耶和华你的神把城交付你手，你就要用剑杀尽这城的男人。
当主你的神把它交到你手中的时候，你要用剑刃重击其中的每一个男性；
耶和华你的　神把城交付你手，你就要用刀杀尽这城的男丁。
And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:

唯有女人、小孩子、牲畜，和城内一切的财物，你可以取为自己的掠物。耶和华你神把你仇敌的财物给你，你可以吃。
但是女人，小孩子，牲畜，城里的一切，就是其中的一切战利品，你要取给自己；你要吃你众敌人的战利品，就是主你的神给你的。
惟有妇女、孩子、牲畜，和城内一切的财物，你可以取为自己的掠物。耶和华你　神把你仇敌的财物赐给你，你可以吃用。
But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.

离你很远的各城，不是这些国民的城，你都要这样待他。
离你很远的各城，就是不属于这些国的城，你都要这样做。
离你甚远的各城，不是这些国民的城，你都要这样待他。
Thus shalt thou do unto all the cities which are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these nations.
16
但这些国民的城，耶和华你神既给你为业，其中凡有气息的，一个不能存留；
但主你的神给你为产业的这些人民的众城，其中有呼吸的，你一个也不要救活；
但这些国民的城，耶和华你　神既赐你为业，其中凡有气息的，一个不可存留；
But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:
17
只要照耶和华你神所命令你的将这赫人、亚摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人都完全毁灭，
而是要照主你的神命令你的，彻底毁灭他们；就是；希斯人，阿摩瑞人，刊南人，皮瑞兹人，希未人，耶布斯人；
只要照耶和华你　神所吩咐的将这赫人、亚摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人都灭绝净尽，
But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee:

免得他们教导你们随从一切可憎恶的事，就是他们向他们的众神所行的，以致你们得罪耶和华你们的神。
这样他们就不能教导你们去跟从他们一切憎恶的事，就是他们向他们的众神做的；以致你们对主你们的神犯罪。
免得他们教导你们学习一切可憎恶的事，就是他们向自己神所行的，以致你们得罪耶和华你们的　神。
That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin against the LORD your God.
19
当你长时间围困、攻打一座城市，不要以斧子毁坏树木；因为你可以吃那树上所结的，不能将它们砍倒，用以围困攻城，（因为这田间的树木是人的命；）
当你长时间包围一座城，并要争战攻取它时，你不要以武力，一把斧子，去攻击它们，毁灭其树木；因为你可以吃它们所出的，你不要把它们砍倒，运用它们来包围（因田野的树木是人的命）；
“你若许久围困、攻打所要取的一座城，就不可举斧子砍坏树木；因为你可以吃那树上的果子，不可砍伐。田间的树木岂是人，叫你糟蹋吗？
When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the trees thereof by forcing an axe against them: for thou mayest eat of them, and thou shalt not cut them down (for the tree of the field is man's life) to employ them in the siege:

唯独你知道是不能作食物的树，可以毁坏、砍伐，用以修筑营垒，攻击那与你打仗的城，直到城被制伏了。
只有你知道是不能作食物的树，你要毁灭并砍倒它们；你要建造堡垒攻击那与你争战的城，直到它被制伏了。
惟独你所知道不是结果子的树木可以毁坏、砍伐，用以修筑营垒，攻击那与你打仗的城，直到攻塌了。”
Only the trees which thou knowest that they be not trees for meat, thou shalt destroy and cut them down; and thou shalt build bulwarks against the city that maketh war with thee, until it be subdued.
