谁如智慧人呢？谁知道事情的解释呢？人的智慧使他的脸发光，并使他脸上的暴气改变。
谁像智慧的人？谁知道一件事情的解释？一个人的智慧使他的脸发光，他脸上的胆量也会被改变。
谁如智慧人呢？谁知道事情的解释呢？人的智慧使他的脸发光，并使他脸上的暴气改变。
Who is as the wise man? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man's wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.

我劝你遵守王的命令；既指神起誓，理当如此。
我建议你持守王的诫命，并且在乎神的誓言。

I counsel thee to keep the king's commandment, and that in regard of the oath of God.

不要急躁离开王的眼前，不要固执行恶，因为他凡事都随自己的心意而行。
不要急忙走出他的视线；不要站在一件坏事里；因无论什么使他喜悦他就做什么。

Be not hasty to go out of his sight: stand not in an evil thing; for he doeth whatsoever pleaseth him.

王的话本有权力，谁敢问他说，你作什么呢？
一个王的话在哪里，权力就在哪里；谁可以对他说，你在做什么？
王的话本有权力，谁敢问他说“你做什么”呢？
Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

凡遵守命令的，必不感到罪恶的事；智慧人的心能辨明时候和审判。
无论谁持守诫命，就感觉不到坏事；一个智慧人的心分辨时间与判决。
凡遵守命令的，必不经历祸患；智慧人的心能辨明时候和定理（原文是审判；下节同）。
Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment.

各样事务成就都有时候和审判，因为人的苦难重压在他身上。
因为对于每个目的都有时间和判决，因此人的悲惨在他身上是极大的。

Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him.

他不知道将来的事，因为将来如何，谁能告诉他呢？
因他不知道将会怎样；因谁能告诉他，什么时候会这样呢？

For he knoweth not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be?

无人有权力掌管灵，将灵留住；也无人有权力掌管死期；这场争战，无人能免；邪恶也不能救那好行邪恶的人。
没有人有权力管理灵，去留住灵；他在死的那天也没有权力；这场争战，无法避免；邪恶也无法拯救那些任由它的人。
无人有权力掌管生命，将生命留住；也无人有权力掌管死期；这场争战，无人能免；邪恶也不能救那好行邪恶的人。
There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

这一切我都见过，也专心查考太阳之下所作的一切事。有时这人管辖那人，令他自己受害。
这一切我都见过，并对太阳之下做的每件工作应用我的心；有时一个人管理另一个人，以致他自己受伤。
这一切我都见过，也专心查考日光之下所做的一切事。有时这人管辖那人，令人受害。
All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt.

我见恶人埋葬，归入坟墓；又见行正直事的离开圣地，在城中被人忘记。这也是虚空。
所以我看见邪恶者埋葬了，那些从神圣的地方来了又走的人，然后他们在这样做过的城里被遗忘；这也是虚空。
我见恶人埋葬，归入坟墓；又见行正直事的离开圣地，在城中被人忘记。这也是虚空。
And so I saw the wicked buried, who had come and gone from the place of the holy, and they were forgotten in the city where they had so done: this is also vanity.

因为断定罪名不立刻施刑，所以人的儿子们满心作恶。
因为针对一个坏工作的判语不被迅速地执行，因此人的儿子们的心就完全被立在那些去做坏事的人里。
因为断定罪名不立刻施刑，所以世人满心作恶。
Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

罪人虽然作恶百次，倒享长久的年日；然而我确实知道，畏惧神的，就是在他面前畏惧的人必顺利。
即使一个罪人做一百次坏事，并且他的日子被延长；然而我的确知道，畏惧神的人，就是在他面前畏惧的人会顺利；
罪人虽然作恶百次，倒享长久的年日；然而我准知道，敬畏　神的，就是在他面前敬畏的人，终久必得福乐。
Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:

那恶者却不顺利，也没有长久的年日；这年日好像影子，因为在神面前他不畏惧。
但那邪恶者不会顺利，他也不会延长他的日子，那些日子好像一个影子；因为在神面前他不畏惧。
恶人却不得福乐，也不得长久的年日；这年日好像影儿，因他不敬畏　神。
But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.

地上有一件虚空的事，就是义人所遭遇的，反照恶人所行的；又有恶人所遭遇的，反照义人所行的。我说，这也是虚空。
有一个虚空在这地上被成就；就是事情按照邪恶者的工作，发生在公正的人们身上；再者，事情按照正义者的工作，发生在邪恶的人们身上；我说，这也是虚空。
世上有一件虚空的事，就是义人所遭遇的，反照恶人所行的；又有恶人所遭遇的，反照义人所行的。我说，这也是虚空。
There is a vanity which is done upon the earth; that there be just men, unto whom it happeneth according to the work of the wicked; again, there be wicked men, to whom it happeneth according to the work of the righteous: I said that this also is vanity.

我就称赞快乐，因为人在太阳之下，莫强如吃喝快乐；因为他在太阳之下，神给他一生的年日，要从劳碌中，时常享受所得的。
于是我就推荐欢乐，因为一个人在太阳之下，没有好过吃，喝，喜乐的事情；因那要从他一生日子的劳动中留下，就是神在太阳之下给他的。
我就称赞快乐，原来人在日光之下，莫强如吃喝快乐；因为他在日光之下，　神赐他一生的年日，要从劳碌中，时常享受所得的。
Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun.

我专心认识智慧，要看地上所作的事。（有昼夜不睡觉不合眼的。）
当我应用我的心去知道智慧，去看这地上被成就的业务时；（因也有那不论昼不论夜都不用他的眼睛见睡觉的；）
我专心求智慧，要看世上所做的事。（有昼夜不睡觉不合眼的。）
When I applied mine heart to know wisdom, and to see the business that is done upon the earth: (for also there is that neither day nor night seeth sleep with his eyes:)

我就看明神一切的作为，知道人查不出太阳之下所作的事；任凭他费多少力寻查，都查不出来，就是智慧人虽想知道，也是查不出来。
于是我看神一切的工作，人不能发现太阳之下做的工作；因为尽管一个人辛劳为要寻找它，他还是不会找到它；是的，此外；尽管一个智慧的人想要去知道它，他还是没有能力找到它。
我就看明　神一切的作为，知道人查不出日光之下所做的事；任凭他费多少力寻查，都查不出来，就是智慧人虽想知道，也是查不出来。
Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea farther; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.
