   亚哈随鲁王使旱地和海岛的人民都进贡。

   阿哈苏如斯王让在土地上和在海岛上的人民都进贡。

   亚哈随鲁王使旱地和海岛的人民都进贡。

   And the king Ahasuerus laid a tribute upon the land, and upon the isles of the sea.

   他以他的权力和他的大能所行的，并他抬举末底改使他高升的事，不都写在玛代和波斯王的历史书上吗？

   他的权力和他大能的所有行为，并他抬举摩迪凯的那伟大的声明，它们不都写在米迪亚和波斯众王的编年史书上吗？

   他以权柄能力所行的，并他抬举末底改使他高升的事，岂不都写在玛代和波斯王的历史上吗？

   And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, whereunto the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?

   犹太人末底改作亚哈随鲁王的宰相，在犹太人中为大，得他众弟兄的喜悦，为他的人民求好处，向他所有的种子说和平的话。

   因犹太人摩迪凯是阿哈苏如斯王的副手，并在犹太人当中伟大，又被他的弟兄们大众接受，而且为他的人民寻求财富，还向他所有的种子说和平的话。

   犹大人末底改作亚哈随鲁王的宰相，在犹大人中为大，得他众弟兄的喜悦，为本族的人求好处，向他们说和平的话。

   For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.
