当天，亚哈随鲁王把犹太人仇敌哈曼的家给王后以斯帖。末底改也来到王面前，因为以斯帖已经告诉王，末底改是她的亲戚。
那天，阿哈苏如斯王把犹太人的敌人哈曼的家给了王后以斯帖。摩迪凯也来到王面前；因为以斯帖已经告诉王，他和她的关系。
当日，亚哈随鲁王把犹大人仇敌哈曼的家产赐给王后以斯帖。末底改也来到王面前，因为以斯帖已经告诉王，末底改是她的亲属。
On that day did the king Ahasuerus give the house of Haman the Jews' enemy unto Esther the queen. And Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what he was unto her.

王摘下自己的戒指，就是从哈曼追回的，给了末底改。以斯帖派末底改管理哈曼的家。
王取下自己的戒指，就是他从哈曼那里拿回来的，把它给了摩迪凯。以斯帖就立摩迪凯管理哈曼的家。

And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it unto Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.

以斯帖又俯伏在王脚前，流泪哀告，求他除掉亚甲人哈曼害犹太人的恶谋。
然后以斯帖俯伏在王脚前，流泪诉说，再次恳请他除掉阿伽各人哈曼的祸害，和他策划针对犹太人的计谋。
以斯帖又俯伏在王脚前，流泪哀告，求他除掉亚甲族哈曼害犹大人的恶谋。
And Esther spake yet again before the king, and fell down at his feet, and besought him with tears to put away the mischief of Haman the Agagite, and his device that he had devised against the Jews.

王向以斯帖伸出金杖，以斯帖就起来，站在王前，
于是王向以斯帖伸出金杖。以斯帖就起来，站在王面前，
王向以斯帖伸出金杖；以斯帖就起来，站在王前，
Then the king held out the golden sceptre toward Esther. So Esther arose, and stood before the king,

说，亚甲人哈米大他的儿子哈曼设谋传旨，要杀灭在王各省的犹太人。现在王若愿意，我若在王眼中蒙喜悦，王若以为有理，若喜悦我，请王另下旨意，废除哈曼所传的那旨意。
说，如果王喜悦这事，如果我在王眼里找到喜爱，并且这事在王眼前看为正确，我在王眼里蒙喜悦，就请王写信，返转阿伽各人哈米达撒的儿子哈曼策划的那信，就是他写去要毁灭在王各省犹太人的那信；
说：“亚甲族哈米大他的儿子哈曼设谋传旨，要杀灭在王各省的犹大人。现今王若愿意，我若在王眼前蒙恩，王若以为美，若喜悦我，请王另下旨意，废除哈曼所传的那旨意。
And said, If it please the king, and if I have favour in his sight, and the thing seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king's provinces:

我怎能见我的民受害？怎能见我的亲族被灭呢？
因看着坏事来到我的人民那里，我怎么能坚持？或者，看着我的亲人被毁灭，我怎么能坚持？
我何忍见我本族的人受害？何忍见我同宗的人被灭呢？”
For how can I endure to see the evil that shall come unto my people? or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?

亚哈随鲁王对王后以斯帖和犹太人末底改说，看啊，因哈曼要下手害犹太人，我已将他的家给以斯帖，他们也将哈曼挂在木架上。
于是阿哈苏如斯王对王后以斯帖和犹太人摩迪凯说，看啊，因哈曼要下手害犹太人，我已把他的家给了以斯帖，他们也把哈曼挂在了木架上。
亚哈随鲁王对王后以斯帖和犹大人末底改说：“因哈曼要下手害犹大人，我已将他的家产赐给以斯帖，人也将哈曼挂在木架上。
Then the king Ahasuerus said unto Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew, Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and him they have hanged upon the gallows, because he laid his hand upon the Jews.

现在你们可以随意在王的名里写谕旨给犹太人，用王的戒指盖印。因为在王名里所写、用王戒指盖印的谕旨，人都不能返转。
现在你们可以随意在王的名里写给犹太人，并用王的戒指盖印它；因在王的名里写下，又用王戒指盖印的文字，没有人可以返转。
现在你们可以随意奉王的名写谕旨给犹大人，用王的戒指盖印；因为奉王名所写、用王戒指盖印的谕旨，人都不能废除。”
Write ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king's name, and seal it with the king's ring: for the writing which is written in the king's name, and sealed with the king's ring, may no man reverse.

三月，就是西弯月二十三，王的书记被召来，按着末底改所命令的，用各省的文字、各民的语言，并犹太人的文字和语言写谕旨，传给那从印度直到埃塞俄比亚一百二十七省的犹太人和总督省长首领。
于是在第三个月，就是西文月的第二十三天，王的众抄写员被召来；按照摩迪凯给犹太人的一切命令，用各省的文字，各人民的语言，并按照犹太人的文字和语言写信，发给从印度直到埃塞俄比亚一百二十七个省的犹太人，各总督，各省长。
三月，就是西弯月二十三日，将王的书记召来，按着末底改所吩咐的，用各省的文字、各族的方言，并犹大人的文字方言写谕旨，传给那从印度直到古实一百二十七省的犹大人和总督省长首领。
Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to their language.

末底改在亚哈随鲁王的名里写谕旨，用王的戒指盖印，交给骑马的、骑骡的、骑骆驼并少壮独峰驼的驿卒，传到各处。
摩迪凯在阿哈苏如斯王的名里写信，并用王的戒指盖印，又交给邮差，骑着马，骑着骡子，骑着骆驼，骑着少壮独峰驼，传到各处；
末底改奉亚哈随鲁王的名写谕旨，用王的戒指盖印，交给骑御马圈快马的驿卒，传到各处。
And he wrote in the king Ahasuerus' name, and sealed it with the king's ring, and sent letters by posts on horseback, and riders on mules, camels, and young dromedaries:

谕旨中，王应允各省各城的犹太人聚集保护性命，完全毁灭杀戮灭绝那要攻击犹太人的一切势力和他们的女人与小子们，夺取他们的财为掠物。
信中，王准许在各省各城的犹太人自己聚集到一起，去保护自己的生命，去毁灭，去屠杀，并让那些要袭击他们的人和省里的一切掌权者一起灭亡，包括他们的小孩子们和女人们，又夺他们的战利品作为一个掠物，
谕旨中，王准各省各城的犹大人在一日之间，十二月，就是亚达月十三日，聚集保护性命，剪除杀戮灭绝那要攻击犹大人的一切仇敌和他们的妻子儿女，夺取他们的财为掠物。
Wherein the king granted the Jews which were in every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault them, both little ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey,

就是一天在亚哈随鲁王的各省之间，十二月，就是亚达月十三。
在这一天，就是第十二个月，阿达耳月的第十三天，在阿哈苏如斯王的各省里。
Upon one day in all the provinces of king Ahasuerus, namely, upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar.

抄录这谕旨，颁行各省，宣告所有人民，使犹太人预备等候那天，在仇敌身上报仇。
这诫命的文字的拷贝，要发给各省，并向所有人民宣告，让犹太人准备好那天，在他们的敌人身上报仇。
抄录这谕旨，颁行各省，宣告各族，使犹大人预备等候那日，在仇敌身上报仇。
The copy of the writing for a commandment to be given in every province was published unto all people, and that the Jews should be ready against that day to avenge themselves on their enemies.

于是，骑骡和骆驼的驿卒被王命催促，急忙起行，谕旨也传遍书珊宫。
所以众邮差被王的诫命催促，骑着骡子和骆驼，立刻出发。政令也传给了书珊宫。
于是骑快马的驿卒被王命催促，急忙起行；谕旨也传遍书珊城。
So the posts that rode upon mules and camels went out, being hastened and pressed on by the king's commandment. And the decree was given at Shushan the palace.

末底改穿着蓝色白色的朝服，头戴大金冠冕，又穿紫色细麻布的外袍，从王面前出来，书珊城的人民都欢呼快乐。
摩迪凯穿着蓝白的皇家服装，头戴大金冠冕，又穿紫色细麻布的衣服，从王面前出来；书珊城的人民都高兴和喜乐。
末底改穿着蓝色白色的朝服，头戴大金冠冕，又穿紫色细麻布的外袍，从王面前出来；书珊城的人民都欢呼快乐。
And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple: and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad.

犹太人有光，欢喜快乐而得尊贵。
犹太人有了荣光，高兴，喜乐，尊贵。
犹大人有光荣，欢喜快乐而得尊贵。
The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honour.
17
王的命令和他的法令所到的各省各城，犹太人都欢喜和高兴，以那天为节日和好日子。那地的人民，有许多因犹太人的畏惧临到他们，就成为了犹太人。
王的诫命和他的政令到的各省各城里，犹太人都有了喜乐和高兴，并以那天为节日和好日子。那土地的人民中，有许多成为了犹太人；因犹太人的畏惧落到他们身上。
王的谕旨所到的各省各城，犹大人都欢喜快乐，设摆筵宴，以那日为吉日。那国的人民，有许多因惧怕犹大人，就入了犹大籍。
And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.
