1. 1

   让我们因此而恐惧，免得，有进入他安息的应许，你们中间的任何人似乎应该不能进去。

   既然有一个进入他休息的承诺留给了我们，因此，让我们畏惧，免得你们中的任何一个人似乎会达不到它。

   我们既蒙留下，有进入他安息的应许，就当畏惧，免得我们（原文是你们）中间或有人似乎是赶不上了。

   Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

2. 2

   因为有福音传给我们，像传给他们一样；只是所传讲的道与他们无益，因为他们没有信心与所听见的道调和。

   因这福音被传讲给了我们，就像给了他们那样；但传讲的话对他们无益，在那些听见它的人里面没有与信心混合。

   因为有福音传给我们，像传给他们一样；只是所听见的道与他们无益，因为他们没有信心与所听见的道调和。

   For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

3. 3

   但我们已经相信的人得以进入安息，正如他说，我在怒中起誓说，他们绝不能进入我的安息。尽管这些工作，从创世以来已经完成了。

   因我们这已经信的就进入了休息，就像他说的，正如我在我的怒火里发誓，唯愿他们会进入我的休息；虽然这些工作，从世界的根基以来，就已经完成了。

   但我们已经相信的人得以进入那安息，正如　神所说：“我在怒中起誓说：‘他们断不可进入我的安息！’”其实造物之工，从创世以来已经成全了。

   For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

4. 4

   说到第七天，有一处说，到第七天神就歇了他一切的工作。

   因他在某个地方这样说到第七天，第七天神就从他所有的工作休息了。

   论到第七日，有一处说：“到第七日，　神就歇了他一切的工。”

   For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

5. 5

   又有一处说，他们绝不能进入我的安息。

   并且在这个地方又说，唯愿他们会进入我的休息。

   又有一处说：“他们断不可进入我的安息！”

   And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.

6. 6

   这样看来，既有必需进入安息的人，那之前听见福音的，因为不信，不能进去。

   因此，既然有一些人必须进入休息，而且那些先被传讲的，因为不信，就没有进去；

   既有必进安息的人，那先前听见福音的，因为不信从，不得进去。

   Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

   所以过了很久，他又限定一天，就在大卫的书上说，今天；如以上所说的，你们今天若听他的声音，就不要硬着心。

   过了很久的时间，他再次限定某一天，在大卫里说，今天；正如它说的，今天如果你们要听他的声音，就不要硬着你们的心。

   所以过了多年，就在大卫的书上，又限定一日，如以上所引的说：“你们今日若听他的话，就不可硬着心。”

   Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

8. 8

   若是耶稣已经给了他们安息，后来他就不会再提别的日子了。

   因如果耶稣已经给了他们休息，那么他后来就不会再讲另外一天了。

   若是约书亚已叫他们享了安息，后来　神就不再提别的日子了。

   For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

9. 9

   因此，有一个安息为神的子民存留。

   因此，有一个休息留给神的人民。

   这样看来，必另有一安息日的安息为　神的子民存留。

   There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

10. 10

    因为他进入他的安息的，是歇了他自己的工作，正如神歇了他的工作一样。

    因那进入了他休息的人，也已经停止了他自己的工作，就像神停止了他的一样。

    因为那进入安息的，乃是歇了自己的工，正如　神歇了他的工一样。

    For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

11. 11

    所以，让我们努力进入那安息，免得有人学那不信的样子跌倒了。

    因此，让我们劳动去进入那休息，以免有任何人跟从那同样不信的例子跌倒了。

    所以，我们务必竭力进入那安息，免得有人学那不信从的样子跌倒了。

    Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

12. 12

    神的道是活的，是有大能的，比一切两刃的剑更快，甚至魂与灵，骨节与骨髓，都能刺入、剖开，能辨别心中的思想和意图。

    因神的话是活的，并且是有权力的，又比任何两刃的剑更锋利，甚至魂与灵，骨节与骨髓，都能刺入分开，并且是心中思想和意图的一个辨别者。

    神的道是活泼的，是有功效的，比一切两刃的剑更快，甚至魂与灵，骨节与骨髓，都能刺入、剖开，连心中的思念和主意都能辨明。

    For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

13. 13

    并且被造物没有一样在他眼前是不彰显的；其实万物在那我们要向他交账的主眼前，都是赤露敞开的。

    没有任何被造物在他眼里是不彰显的；而且所有事物在那位与我们有关的眼前，都是赤露和打开的。

    并且被造的没有一样在他面前不显然的；原来万物在那与我们有关系的主眼前，都是赤露敞开的。

    Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

14. 14

    看到我们有一位已经升入诸天伟大的大祭司，就是神的儿子耶稣，让我们紧紧抓住我们的承认。

    既然我们有一位已经升入众天的伟大的大祭司，神的儿子耶稣，就让我们紧握我们的声明。

    我们既然有一位已经升入高天尊荣的大祭司，就是　神的儿子耶稣，便当持定所承认的道。

    Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15. 15

    因我们的大祭司并不是不能被我们软弱的感觉所触摸。他也曾凡事受过试探，与我们一样，只是他没有罪。

    因我们有的不是一个不能被我们虚弱的感觉摸到的大祭司；而且他在所有要点上都受过试探，就像我们一样，只是没有罪。

    因我们的大祭司并非不能体恤我们的软弱。他也曾凡事受过试探，与我们一样，只是他没有犯罪。

    For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16. 16

    所以，让我们大胆地来到恩典的宝座前，为要得怜悯，蒙恩典，作需要时的帮助。

    因此，让我们大胆地来到恩典的王座前，使我们可以获得怜悯，并在需要的时间找到恩典来帮助。

    所以，我们只管坦然无惧地来到施恩的宝座前，为要得怜恤，蒙恩惠，作随时的帮助。

    Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
