逾越节以前，耶稣知道自己离世归父的时候到了。他既然爱世界中属自己的人，就爱他们到底。
现在，逾越节之前，当耶稣知道自己离开这世界到父亲那里的小时到了，既然爱着这世界里属自己的，他就爱他们到底。

Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

吃过晚饭的时候，魔鬼已将出卖他的意思放在西门的儿子加略人犹大心里。
晚餐结束了，魔鬼已把要出卖他放进了西门的儿子犹达斯·以斯凯瑞特的心里；
吃晚饭的时候，魔鬼已将卖耶稣的意思放在西门的儿子加略人犹大心里。
And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;

耶稣知道父已将万有交在他手里，而且他是从神出来的，又要到神那里去，
耶稣知道父亲已把所有事物都交在他的双手里，而且他是来自神的，又要到神那里去；

Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;

他就离席站起来，脱了他的衣服，拿一条手巾束腰，
他就起来离开晚餐，并把他的衣服放到旁边；然后拿了一条毛巾，束在自己身上。

He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.

随后他把水倒在盆里，开始洗门徒们的脚，并用他自己所束的手巾擦干。

After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.

然后到了西门彼得，彼得对他说，主啊，你洗我的脚吗？
于是他来到了西门·彼得那里；彼得就对他说，主，你洗我的脚吗？
挨到西门·彼得，彼得对他说：“主啊，你洗我的脚吗？”
Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?

耶稣回答他说，我所作的，你现在不知道，后来必知道。
耶稣回答他说，我做的，你现在不知道；但今后你会知道。
耶稣回答说：“我所做的，你如今不知道，后来必明白。”
Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.

彼得对他说，你永不能洗我的脚。耶稣回答他：我若不洗你，你就与我无分了。
彼得对他说，你永远不能洗我的脚。耶稣回答他，如果我不洗你，你就与我无分了。
彼得说：“你永不可洗我的脚！”耶稣说：“我若不洗你，你就与我无份了。”
Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

西门彼得对他说，主啊，不但我的脚，连我的手和头也要洗。
西门·彼得对他说，主，不仅我的脚，还有我的双手和头。
西门·彼得说：“主啊，不但我的脚，连手和头也要洗。”
Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.

耶稣对他说，凡洗过澡的人，只要把脚一洗，全身就干净了。你们是干净的，然而不都是干净的。
耶稣对他说，那被洗的人，除了洗他的脚，其他都不需要，是完全洁净的；你们是洁净的，然而不都是。
耶稣说：“凡洗过澡的人，只要把脚一洗，全身就干净了。你们是干净的，然而不都是干净的。”
Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.

耶稣知道要出卖他的是谁，所以他说，你们不都是干净的。
因他知道谁要出卖他；因此他说，你们不都是洁净的。
耶稣原知道要卖他的是谁，所以说：“你们不都是干净的。”
For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.

他洗完了他们的脚，就穿上他的衣服，又坐下，他对他们说，我向你们所作的，你们知道吗？
所以他洗了他们的脚之后，就拿起他的衣服，并坐下，他对他们说，你们知道我对你们所做的吗？
耶稣洗完了他们的脚，就穿上衣服，又坐下，对他们说：“我向你们所做的，你们明白吗？
So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?

你们称呼我师傅，称呼我主，你们说的好，因为我是。
你们叫我师傅和主；你们说的好；因我是这样的。
你们称呼我夫子，称呼我主，你们说的不错，我本来是。
Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.

那么，如果我，你们的主，你们的师傅，尚且洗你们的脚，你们也应当彼此洗脚。
那么如果我，你们的主和师傅，洗了你们的脚；你们也应该洗彼此的脚。
我是你们的主，你们的夫子，尚且洗你们的脚，你们也当彼此洗脚。
If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.

我给你们作了一个榜样，叫你们照着我向你们所作的去作。
因我给了你们一个例子，使你们照着我对你们所做的去做。
我给你们作了榜样，叫你们照着我向你们所做的去做。
For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

我实实在在地对你们说，仆人不能大于他的主人，被差的人也不能大于差他的人。
我实实在在地对你们说，仆人大不过他的主人；被派的也大不过派他的。
我实实在在地告诉你们，仆人不能大于主人，差人也不能大于差他的人。
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

你们若知道这些事，如果去作，你们就是快乐的。
如果你们知道这些事情，如果你们去做它们，你们就是快乐的。
你们既知道这事，若是去行就有福了。
If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
18
我这话不是指着你们众人说的，我知道我所拣选的是谁。但要应验这经文，说，和我一起吃饭的人抬脚踢我。
我不是说你们全部；我知道我选择了谁；但使这书文可以被应验，那和我一起吃饼的人抬起他的脚攻击我。
我这话不是指着你们众人说的，我知道我所拣选的是谁。现在要应验经上的话，说：‘同我吃饭的人用脚踢我。’
I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.

现在我要在它来以前告诉你们，这样当它发生的时候，你们就可以相信我是他。
现在我在这事来到之前就告诉你们，这样当它发生的时候，你们就可以相信我是他。
如今事情还没有成就，我要先告诉你们，叫你们到事情成就的时候可以信我是基督。
Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.

我实实在在地对你们说，有人接待我所差的，就是接待我；接待我，就是接待那差我的。
我实实在在地对你们说，无论我派谁，接受他的，就是接受我；接受我，就是接受那派我的。
我实实在在地告诉你们，有人接待我所差遣的，就是接待我；接待我，就是接待那差遣我的。”
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

耶稣说了这话，灵里忧愁，就明说，我实实在在地对你们说，你们中间有一个人要出卖我了。
当耶稣这样说了，他就在灵里烦恼，并指证，说，我实实在在地对你们说，你们中的一个会出卖我。
耶稣说了这话，心里忧愁，就明说：“我实实在在地告诉你们，你们中间有一个人要卖我了。”
When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

然后门徒们彼此对看，猜不透所说的是谁。
于是门徒们彼此对看，疑惑他说的是谁。

Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake.

有一个门徒，是耶稣所爱的，依靠在耶稣的怀里。
现在有一个门徒，他是耶稣爱的，就靠在耶稣的怀里。
有一个门徒，是耶稣所爱的，侧身挨近耶稣的怀里。
Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.

西门彼得就对他点头示意，叫他问主是指着谁说的。
因此西门·彼得就对他示意，让他问他是在说谁。
西门·彼得点头对他说：“你告诉我们，主是指着谁说的。”
Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake.

然后那门徒便靠着耶稣的胸膛，问他说，主啊，是谁呢？
于是他靠在耶稣的胸膛上对他说，主，是谁？
那门徒便就势靠着耶稣的胸膛，问他说：“主啊，是谁呢？”
He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?

耶稣回答说，我蘸一点饼给谁，就是谁。耶稣就蘸了一点饼，递给加略人西门的儿子犹大。
耶稣回答，我蘸一点饼给谁，就是谁。当他蘸了饼，他就给了西门的儿子犹达斯·以斯凯瑞特。
耶稣回答说：“我蘸一点饼给谁，就是谁。”耶稣就蘸了一点饼，递给加略人西门的儿子犹大。
Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

他吃了蘸的饼，撒但就进入他。耶稣便对他说，你所作的，快作吧。
蘸了饼之后，撒但就进入他。于是耶稣就对他说，你在做的，快去做。
他吃了以后，撒但就入了他的心。耶稣便对他说：“你所做的，快做吧！”
And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.

有人因犹大带着钱囊，以为耶稣是对他说，你去买我们过节所要用的东西；或是叫他拿什么给贫穷人。
他们中的一些人以为，因为犹达斯有袋子，耶稣是对他说，去买我们过节需要的东西；或是让他去拿什么东西给贫穷人。
有人因犹大带着钱囊，以为耶稣是对他说：“你去买我们过节所应用的东西”，或是叫他拿什么周济穷人。
For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

犹大接受了那点饼，立刻就出去。那时候是夜间了。
于是他接受了蘸的饼就立刻出去了；是在夜晚。

He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.

他既出去，耶稣就说，现在人子被荣耀，神在人子身上也被荣耀了。
因此，当他出去了，耶稣就说，现在人的儿子被荣耀了，并且神在他里面也被荣耀了。
他既出去，耶稣就说：“如今人子得了荣耀，　神在人子身上也得了荣耀。
Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.

神既因人子被荣耀，神也要因自己荣耀人子，并且要快快地荣耀他。
如果神在他里面被荣耀，神也会在他自己里荣耀他，并且会直接荣耀他。
神要因自己荣耀人子，并且要快快地荣耀他。
If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.

小孩子们，我还有不多的时候与你们同在；后来你们要找我，但我所去的地方你们不能到。这话我曾对犹太人说过，现在也照样对你们说。
小孩子们，我还会与你们在一起一小会。你们会寻找我；就像我对犹太人说过的，我去的地方，你们不能来；所以我现在对你们说。
小子们，我还有不多的时候与你们同在；后来你们要找我，但我所去的地方你们不能到。这话我曾对犹太人说过，如今也照样对你们说。
Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.

我给你们一条新命令，你们要彼此相爱；我怎样爱你们，你们也要怎样相爱。
我给你们一条新诫命，就是你们彼此相爱；就像我爱了你们一样，你们也要彼此相爱。
我赐给你们一条新命令，乃是叫你们彼此相爱；我怎样爱你们，你们也要怎样相爱。
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35
你们若彼此相爱，众人因此就认出你们是我的门徒了。
如果你们对彼此有爱，借此所有人就会知道你们是我的门徒。
你们若有彼此相爱的心，众人因此就认出你们是我的门徒了。”
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
36
西门彼得问他说，主，你往哪里去？耶稣回答他说，我所去的地方，你现在不能跟我去，后来却要跟我去。
西门·彼得对他说，主，你到哪里去？耶稣回答他，我去的地方，你现在不能跟随我；但你之后会跟随我。
西门·彼得问耶稣说：“主往哪里去？”耶稣回答说：“我所去的地方，你现在不能跟我去，后来却要跟我去。”
Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

彼得对他说，主啊，我为什么现在不能跟你去？我愿意为你舍命。
彼得对他说，主，为什么我现在不能跟随你？我要为你的缘故放下我的生命。
彼得说：“主啊，我为什么现在不能跟你去？我愿意为你舍命！”
Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.

耶稣回答他说，你愿意为我舍命吗？我实实在在地对你说，鸡叫之前，你要三次否认我。
耶稣回答他，你要为我的缘故放下你的生命？我实实在在地对你说，直到你否认了我三次，否则公鸡不会叫。
耶稣说：“你愿意为我舍命吗？我实实在在地告诉你，鸡叫以先，你要三次不认我。”
Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.
