   他又在海边教导人。有许多人到他那里聚集，因此他进了一条船。船在海里，众人都靠近海，站在岸上。

   然后他再次开始在海边教导人；有很多大众到他那里聚集，所以他进了一条船，坐在海里；全部大众都在海边的土地上。

   耶稣又在海边教训人。有许多人到他那里聚集，他只得上船坐下。船在海里，众人都靠近海，站在岸上。

   And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.

2. 2

   耶稣就用比喻教导他们许多事，在他的教导之间，对他们讲说，

   他就用比喻教导了他们许多事，用他的教义对他们说，

   耶稣就用比喻教训他们许多道理。在教训之间，对他们说：

   And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,

   注意听；看啊，有一个撒种的出去撒种。

   听着；看啊，有一个播种的出去播种；

   “你们听啊！有一个撒种的出去撒种。

   Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

4. 4

   他撒的时候，有落在路旁的，空中的飞禽来吃尽了；

   这样发生了，他正播种时，有些落在道路旁，空中的飞禽来把它吞吃光了。

   撒的时候，有落在路旁的，飞鸟来吃尽了；

   And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

   有落在土浅石头地上的，土既不深，发苗最快，

   有些落在石头的地面上，在那里它没有很多地；因为它没有地的深度，它立即就涌现出来；

   有落在土浅石头地上的，土既不深，发苗最快，

   And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:

   当太阳出来，它就被烤焦了，因为它没有根，它就枯萎了；

   但当太阳出来，它就被烤焦了，因为它没有根，它就枯干了。

   日头出来一晒，因为没有根，就枯干了；

   But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

   有落在荆棘里的，荆棘长起来，使它窒息了，就不结果；

   有些落在荆棘中，荆棘长起来，使它窒息，它就不结果子。

   有落在荆棘里的，荆棘长起来，把它挤住了，就不结实；

   And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

8. 8

   又有落在好地里的，就发生长大结果，有三十倍的，有六十倍的，有一百倍的。

   另一些落在了好地面上，就结出果子，崛起并增加；然后一些生出三十倍，一些六十倍，一些一百倍。

   又有落在好土里的，就发生长大，结实有三十倍的，有六十倍的，有一百倍的”；

   And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

9. 9

   耶稣又对他们说，有耳可听的，就应当听。

   他又对他们说，有耳朵去听的人，就让他听。

   又说：“有耳可听的，就应当听！”

   And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

10. 10

    当他独处的时候，跟随他的人和十二个门徒问他这比喻的意思。

    当他独处的时候，他周围的人和那十二个门徒问就他这比喻。

    无人的时候，跟随耶稣的人和十二个门徒问他这比喻的意思。

    And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.

11. 11

    他对他们说，神国的奥秘只叫你们知道，若是对外人讲，凡事就用比喻，

    他就对他们说，神的王国的奥秘是给你们知道的；但对于他们外面的人，所有的这些事情都要在比喻中做，

    耶稣对他们说：“　神国的奥秘只叫你们知道，若是对外人讲，凡事就用比喻，

    And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

12. 12

    叫他们看是看见，却不认识；听是听见，却不明白；恐怕他们任何时候回转过来，他们的罪就被原谅了。

    从而他们看是可以看，并没有意识；他们听是可以听，并没有领悟；以免任何时候他们被转变，他们的罪就会被原谅了。

    叫他们看是看见，却不晓得；听是听见，却不明白；恐怕他们回转过来，就得赦免。”

    That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

13. 13

    他又对他们说，你们不知道这比喻吗？这样怎能知道一切的比喻呢？

    然后他对他们说，你们不知道这比喻吗？那你们怎么会知道所有的比喻？

    又对他们说：“你们不明白这比喻吗？这样怎能明白一切的比喻呢？

    And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

14. 14

    撒种之人所撒的就是道。

    播种者播种这话。

    撒种之人所撒的就是道。

    The sower soweth the word.

15. 15

    那撒在路旁的，就是他们听了道，撒但立刻来，把撒在他们心里的道夺了去。

    那些被播种在道路旁的话，就是当他们听见了，但撒但立刻来，就把播种在他们心里的话拿走了。

    那撒在路旁的，就是人听了道，撒但立刻来，把撒在他心里的道夺了去。

    And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

16. 16

    照样，那撒在石头地上的，就是他们听了道，立刻欢喜接受，

    同样，那些被播种在石头的地面上的；就是当他们听了话，立刻高兴地接受它；

    那撒在石头地上的，就是人听了道，立刻欢喜领受，

    And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

17. 17

    但他里面没有根，不过是暂时的，后来为道遭了患难，或是受了逼迫，他们立刻就跌倒了。

    他们里面并没有根，所以只能坚持一段时间；之后，当为这话的缘故，有苦难或迫害兴起来，他们立刻就被冒犯了。

    但他心里没有根，不过是暂时的，及至为道遭了患难，或是受了逼迫，立刻就跌倒了。

    And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

18. 18

    还有那撒在荆棘里的，就是人听了道，

    还有那被播种在荆棘当中的；就是那些听了这话，

    还有那撒在荆棘里的，就是人听了道，

    And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,

19. 19

    后来有世上的思虑、财富的欺骗，和别样的私欲进来，把道窒息了，就不能结果。

    这个世界的关注和财物的欺骗，并且其他各种事情的贪欲就进入，把这话窒息了，然后它就变成无果子的。

    后来有世上的思虑、钱财的迷惑，和别样的私欲进来，把道挤住了，就不能结实。

    And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

20. 20

    那撒在好地上的，就是人听道，又接受，并且结果，有三十倍的，有六十倍的，有一百倍的。

    那些被播种在好的地面上的，就是那些听了话，又接受它，并且出产果子，一些三十倍，一些六十倍，一些一百倍。

    那撒在好地上的，就是人听道，又领受，并且结实，有三十倍的，有六十倍的，有一百倍的。”

    And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

21. 21

    他又对他们说，人拿灯来，难道是要放在斗底下，床底下，不放在灯台上吗？

    他又对他们说，一盏灯被带来，是为了放在一个斗底下，或一张床底下吗？难道不是为了放在一个灯台上？

    耶稣又对他们说：“人拿灯来，岂是要放在斗底下，床底下，不放在灯台上吗？

    And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?

22. 22

    因为隐藏的事，没有不显出来的；秘密的事，没有不露出来的。

    因隐藏的事，没有不会被彰显的；也没有任何保持秘密的事，而它都要传开。

    因为掩藏的事，没有不显出来的；隐瞒的事，没有不露出来的。

    For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.

23. 23

    有耳可听的，就应当听。

    如果任何人有耳朵去听，就让他听。

    有耳可听的，就应当听！”

    If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

24. 24

    他对他们又说，你们所听的要留心。你们用什么量器量给人，也必用什么量器量给你们，并且要多给你们这听的人。

    然后他对他们说，要谨慎你们听到了什么；你们用什么量器去量，它就会被用来量给你们；并且对你们这听的人，要被给予更多。

    又说：“你们所听的要留心。你们用什么量器量给人，也必用什么量器量给你们，并且要多给你们。

    And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

25. 25

    因为有的，还要给他；没有的，连他所有的也要夺去。

    因有的人，还会给他；没有的人，连他有的也要从他拿走。

    因为有的，还要给他；没有的，连他所有的也要夺去。”

    For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.

26. 26

    他又说，神的国如同人把种撒在地上。

    他又说，神的王国，就像如果一个人把种子投入地面一样；

    又说：“　神的国如同人把种撒在地上。

    And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

27. 27

    黑夜睡觉，白天起来，这种就发芽渐长，他却不知道为什么会这样。

    会睡觉，并夜以继日起来，然后这种子会发芽长起来，他不知道怎么会这样。

    黑夜睡觉，白日起来，这种就发芽渐长，那人却不晓得如何这样。

    And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.

28. 28

    地生出她的果实：先发苗，后长穗，再后穗中有了饱满的子粒；

    因这地出产她自己的果子；首先发苗，于是长穗，之后穗里满了谷物；

    地生五谷是出于自然的：先发苗，后长穗，再后穗上结成饱满的子粒；

    For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

29. 29

    果实既熟了，就用镰刀去割，因为收成的时候到了。

    但当果子一出产，他就立刻用镰刀去割，因为收成到了。

    谷既熟了，就用镰刀去割，因为收成的时候到了。”

    But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

30. 30

    他说，我们可以把神的国比作什么呢？我们可用什么比喻来比它呢？

    他说，我们要把神的王国比喻成什么？或我们要用什么对照来比较它？

    又说：“　神的国，我们可用什么比较呢？可用什么比喻表明呢？

    And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?

31. 31

    它好像一粒芥菜种，种在地里的时候，虽比地上的百种都小，

    它就像一粒芥末种子，它被播种在这地里的时候，是比在这地里所有的种子都小的，

    好像一粒芥菜种，种在地里的时候，虽比地上的百种都小，

    It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:

32. 32

    但种上以后，就长起来，比各样的菜都大，又长出大枝来，甚至空中的飞禽可以宿在它的荫下。

    但当它被播种了，它就长起来，变得比所有的药草都大，又发出大枝子来；以致空中的飞禽都可以在它的荫下住宿。

    但种上以后，就长起来，比各样的菜都大，又长出大枝来，甚至天上的飞鸟可以宿在它的荫下。”

    But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

33. 33

    他用许多这样的比喻，照他们所能听的，对他们讲道。

    他又用许多这样的比喻，照他们能够听的，对他们讲话。

    耶稣用许多这样的比喻，照他们所能听的，对他们讲道。

    And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it.

34. 34

    但若不用比喻，他就不对他们讲；当他们独处的时候，他就把一切的道讲解给他的门徒们听。

    但不用比喻，他就不对他们讲；当他们独处的时候，他就对他的门徒们阐明一切的事。

    若不用比喻，就不对他们讲；没有人的时候，就把一切的道讲给门徒听。

    But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

35. 35

    当天，夜幕降临的时候，他对他们说，我们渡到那边去吧。

    同一天，当晚上来到，他对他们说，让我们过到另一边去吧。

    当那天晚上，耶稣对门徒说：“我们渡到那边去吧。”

    And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.

36. 36

    他们叫众人走的时候，他仍在船上，他们就把他一起带去；也有别的小船和他同行。

    当他们送走大众的时候，他仍在船上，他们就把他一起带去。也有别的小船和他一起。

    门徒离开众人，耶稣仍在船上，他们就把他一同带去；也有别的船和他同行。

    And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.

37. 37

    忽然起了暴风，波浪打入船内，甚至船要满了水。

    然后就起了一阵巨大的暴风，波浪打入船内，以致船都满了。

    And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

38. 38

    他在船尾上，枕着枕头睡觉。他们叫醒了他，对他说，师傅，我们要死了，你不管吗？

    他在船的后部，在一个枕头上睡觉；他们就叫醒了他，对他说，师傅，我们灭亡你不在乎吗？

    耶稣在船尾上，枕着枕头睡觉。门徒叫醒了他，说：“夫子！我们丧命，你不顾吗？”

    And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

39. 39

    他起来，斥责风，向海说，安静，平静吧，风就止住，大大地平静了。

    他就起来，斥责了风，并向海说，平静，安静。然后风就止住，并非常地平静。

    耶稣醒了，斥责风，向海说：“住了吧！静了吧！”风就止住，大大地平静了。

    And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

40. 40

    他对他们说，为什么这样畏惧？你们怎么没有信心呢？

    他对他们说，你们为什么这么畏惧？你们怎么没有信心？

    耶稣对他们说：“为什么胆怯？你们还没有信心吗？”

    And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

41. 41

    他们就大大地畏惧，彼此说，这是个怎样的人，连风和海也听从他了。

    他们就极其畏惧，彼此说，这是个什么样子的人，甚至风和海都听从他呢？

    他们就大大地惧怕，彼此说：“这到底是谁，连风和海也听从他了。”

    And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
