所罗门的箴言。智慧之子使父亲欢乐；但愚昧之子叫母亲沉重。
所罗门的众谚语。一个智慧的儿子造就一个高兴的父亲；但一个愚蠢的儿子是他母亲的沉重。
所罗门的箴言：智慧之子使父亲欢乐；愚昧之子叫母亲担忧。
The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.

邪恶之财毫无益处；但公义能救人脱离死亡。
邪恶的宝物毫无益处；但正义救人脱离死亡。
不义之财毫无益处；惟有公义能救人脱离死亡。
Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.

耶和华不使义人的魂挨饿；但恶人的货财，他必推开。
主不会容许正义者的魂饥饿；但他丢掉恶者的实物。
耶和华不使义人受饥饿；恶人所欲的，他必推开。
The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.

手懒的，要受贫穷；但手勤的，却要富足。
以一只松懈的手做事的人，他成为贫穷；但殷勤的手使他富足。
手懒的，要受贫穷；手勤的，却要富足。
He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

夏天收集的，是智慧之子；但收割时沉睡的，是羞耻之子。
在夏天聚集的人，他是一个智慧的儿子；但在收获时睡觉的人，导致他是一个羞愧的儿子。
夏天聚敛的，是智慧之子；收割时沉睡的，是贻羞之子。
He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.

福分临到义人的头；但强暴蒙蔽恶人的口。
祝福在公正者的头上；但暴力遮盖恶者的口。
福祉临到义人的头；强暴蒙蔽恶人的口。
Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

义人的纪念被祝福；但恶人的名字必朽烂。
公正者的记忆是有福的；但恶者的名会腐烂。
义人的纪念被称赞；恶人的名字必朽烂。
The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.

心中智慧的，必受诫命；但愚妄的瞎话，必倾倒。
心里智慧的要接受诫命；但一个瞎说的愚蠢者会跌倒。
心中智慧的，必受命令；口里愚妄的，必致倾倒。
The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.

行正直路的，步步安稳；但走弯曲道的，必败露。
行走正直的人，他行走安稳；但歪曲自己众道路的人，他会被知道。

He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.

挤眉弄眼的，使人悲伤；但愚妄的瞎话，必倾倒。
用眼使眼色的人，导致他悲伤；但一个瞎说的愚蠢者，会跌倒。
以眼传神的，使人忧患；口里愚妄的，必致倾倒。
He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall.

义人的口是生命的井；但强暴蒙蔽恶人的口。
一个正义的人的口是一口生命的井；但暴力遮盖恶者的口。
义人的口是生命的泉源；强暴蒙蔽恶人的口。
The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

恨能挑启争端；但爱能遮盖一切的罪。
仇恨激起纷争；但爱遮盖所有的罪。
恨能挑启争端；爱能遮掩一切过错。
Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

聪明人唇里有智慧；杖却为无聪明人的背而预备。
智慧在有悟性的人唇里被找到；但一根杖是为了毫无悟性的人的背。
明哲人嘴里有智慧；无知人背上受刑杖。
In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.

智慧人积存知识；但愚妄人的口靠近毁灭。
智慧的人存储知识；但愚蠢者的口靠近毁灭。
智慧人积存知识；愚妄人的口速致败坏。
Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.

富户的财物是他的坚城；贫穷人的毁灭是他们的贫乏。
富足的人的财富是他坚固的城；贫穷者的毁灭是他们的贫困。
富户的财物是他的坚城；穷人的贫乏是他的败坏。
The rich man's wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.

义人的勤劳致生；恶人的果子致罪。
正义者的劳动倾向生命；恶者的果子倾向罪。
义人的勤劳致生；恶人的进项致死（死：原文是罪）。
The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.

谨守训诲的，是在生命的道上；但违弃责备的，便失迷了路。
持守指示的人在生命的道路里；但弃绝责备的人犯错。
谨守训诲的，乃在生命的道上；违弃责备的，便失迷了路。
He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.

隐藏怨恨的，有说谎的唇；口出诽谤的，是愚妄的人。
用说谎的唇隐藏仇恨的人，并发出一个诽谤的人，是个愚蠢者。
隐藏怨恨的，有说谎的嘴；口出谗谤的，是愚妄的人。
He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.

多言多语难免有过；但禁止他的唇就是智慧。
在许多的话语中不缺乏罪；但克制他唇的人是智慧的。
多言多语难免有过；禁止嘴唇是有智慧。
In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.

义人的舌如高银；恶人的心所值无几。
公正者的舌像精选的银子；恶者的心价值很小。
义人的舌乃似高银；恶人的心所值无几。
The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.

义人的唇教养多人；但愚昧人因缺乏智慧而死。
正义者的唇喂养多人；但愚蠢者因缺乏智慧而死。
义人的口教养多人；愚昧人因无知而死亡。
The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.

耶和华的福使人富足，并不加上忧虑。
主的祝福，它使得富足，并且他不给它加上悲伤。
耶和华所赐的福使人富足，并不加上忧虑。
The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

愚妄人以行恶为戏耍；聪明人却有智慧。
一个愚蠢者做毒害的事就像游戏；但一个悟性的人有智慧。
愚妄人以行恶为戏耍；明哲人却以智慧为乐。
It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom.

那恶者的畏惧必临到他；但那义者的渴望必被应允。
恶者的畏惧，它会来到他身上；但正义者的渴望会被准许。
恶人所怕的，必临到他；义人所愿的，必蒙应允。
The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.

旋风一过，恶人归于无有；义人的根基却是永久。
旋风怎样过去，恶者也怎样不再有；但正义者是一个永远的根基。
暴风一过，恶人归于无有；义人的根基却是永久。
As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

懒惰人叫差他的人如醋倒牙，如烟薰目。
醋怎样对牙，烟怎样对眼，懒人也怎样对派他的人们。
懒惰人叫差他的人如醋倒牙，如烟薰目。
As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.

耶和华的畏惧使人日子加多；但那恶者的年岁必被减少。
主的畏惧延长日子；但恶者的年岁会被缩短。
敬畏耶和华使人日子加多；但恶人的年岁必被减少。
The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.

义人的盼望必得喜乐；但恶人的指望必致灭亡。
正义者的盼望是为高兴；但恶者的期盼会灭亡。
义人的盼望必得喜乐；恶人的指望必致灭没。
The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

耶和华的道是正直人的力量；但毁灭必临到作孽人的工作。
主的道路是正直者的强力；但毁灭要归给到罪过的工人。
耶和华的道是正直人的保障，却成了作孽人的败坏。
The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

义人永不被动摇；但恶人不能住在这地上。
正义者永不会被挪移；但恶者不会居住在这地上。
义人永不挪移；恶人不得住在地上。
The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.

义人的口滋生智慧；但乖谬的舌必被砍掉。
公正者的口生出智慧；但骄横的舌会被砍掉。
义人的口滋生智慧；乖谬的舌必被割断。
The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.

义人的唇知道什么蒙悦纳；但恶人的口说乖谬的话。
正义者的唇知道什么是可接受的；但恶者的口说话骄横。
义人的嘴能令人喜悦；恶人的口说乖谬的话。
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.
