你不要嫉妒恶人，也不要起意与他们相处；
你不要妒忌坏人，也不要渴望去与他们在一起；
你不要嫉妒恶人，也不要起意与他们相处；
Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them.

因为，他们的心图谋毁灭，他们的唇谈论奸恶。
因为，他们的心研究毁灭，他们的唇谈论毒害。
因为，他们的心图谋强暴，他们的口谈论奸恶。
For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.

房屋借智慧建造，又借聪明立稳；
一间房子是通过智慧被建造的；并且它是借着悟性被建立的；
房屋因智慧建造，又因聪明立稳；
Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:

其中被知识充满各样美好宝贵的财物。
然后众房屋会借着知识被所有宝贵和可喜的财物充满。
其中因知识充满各样美好宝贵的财物。
And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

智慧人大有能力；有知识的人加增力量。
一个智慧的人是强壮的；是的，一个有知识的人增加强力。
智慧人大有能力；有知识的人力上加力。
A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

你去打仗，要凭智谋；谋士众多，便得稳妥。
因借着智慧的建议，你会打你的仗；在许多的议士中就有安全。

For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.

智慧极高，非愚昧人所能及，所以在城门内不敢开口。
对一个愚蠢者来说，智慧太高；在大门里他不张开他的口。

Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate.

He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person.

愚妄人的思念是罪恶；亵慢者为人所憎恶。

The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.

你在患难之日若胆怯，你的力量就微小。
如果你在逆境的那天昏软，你的强力是微小的。
你在患难之日若胆怯，你的力量就微小。
If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

你要阻止那些被拉到死地的人和将被杀的。
如果你克制不把那些要被拉去死的人和准备要被杀的人救出来；
人被拉到死地，你要解救；人将被杀，你须拦阻。
If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;

你若说，看啊，这事我不知道，那衡量人心的难道不明白吗？保守你魂的难道不知道吗？他难道不按各人所行的报应各人吗？
如果你说，看啊，我们不知道这事；那思索人心的难道不考量它？持守你魂的人，他难道不知道它？他难道不会按照各人的工作呈给各人？
你若说：“这事我未曾知道”，那衡量人心的岂不明白吗？保守你命的岂不知道吗？他岂不按各人所行的报应各人吗？
If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?

我儿，你要吃蜜，因为它是好的；吃蜂房下滴的蜜便觉甘甜；
我的儿子，你要吃蜜，因为它是好的；还有蜂房，就是那对你的味觉来说是甜的；
我儿，你要吃蜜，因为是好的；吃蜂房下滴的蜜便觉甘甜。
My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste:

你魂若得了智慧的知识，也必觉得如此；当你找到它，那时必有奖赏；你的指望必不致断绝。
智慧的知识对于你的魂也会是这样；当你找到它时，就会有一个奖赏，你的期待不会被剪除。
你心得了智慧，也必觉得如此。你若找着，至终必有善报；你的指望也不致断绝。
So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

你这恶人啊，不要埋伏攻击义人的住处；不要毁坏他安息的地方。
邪恶的人啊，不要埋伏攻击正义者的住处；不要掠夺他休息的地方；
你这恶人，不要埋伏攻击义人的家；不要毁坏他安居之所。
Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place:

因为，义人虽七次跌倒，仍必兴起；但恶人必倒在祸患中。
因为，一个公正的人跌倒了七次，还会再起来；但恶者会倒在毒害中。
因为，义人虽七次跌倒，仍必兴起；恶人却被祸患倾倒。
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

你仇敌跌倒，你不要欢喜；他绊跌，你的心不要快乐；
当你的敌人跌倒时，不要喜乐；当他绊倒时，不要让你的心高兴；
你仇敌跌倒，你不要欢喜；他倾倒，你心不要快乐；
Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:

恐怕耶和华看见就不喜悦，将怒气从仇敌身上转过来。
以免主看见这事，就使他不喜悦，他就把他的怒火从仇敌身上转开。

Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.

不要为作恶的心怀不平，也不要嫉妒恶人；
你不要因为坏人使自己烦躁，你也不要妒忌恶者；
不要为作恶的心怀不平，也不要嫉妒恶人；
Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked:
- 20
因为，恶人最终得不到善报；恶人的烛也必熄灭。
因坏人不会有奖赏；恶者的灯也会被熄灭。
因为，恶人终不得善报；恶人的灯也必熄灭。
For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.
- 21
我儿，你要畏惧耶和华与君王；不要与反复无常的人多事；
我的儿子，你要畏惧主和王；不要干涉那些任由改变的人；
我儿，你要敬畏耶和华与君王，不要与反复无常的人结交，
My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change:

因为他们的灾难必忽然而起。耶和华与君王所施行的毁灭，谁能知道呢？
因他们的灾难会忽然兴起；他们的毁灭，谁知道呢？
因为他们的灾难必忽然而起。耶和华与君王所施行的毁灭，谁能知道呢？
For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?

以下也是智慧人的箴言：审判时看人情面是不善的。
这些事情也是属于智者。在判决中有对身份的重视是不好的。

These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.

对恶人说，你是义人的，这人万民必咒诅，列邦必憎恶。
对恶者说，你是正义的那人；人民会咒诅他，各国会厌恶他；
对恶人说“你是义人”的，这人万民必咒诅，列邦必憎恶。
He that saith unto the wicked, Thou are righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:

责备恶人的，必得喜悦；美好的福也必临到他们。
但喜悦会归于那些斥责他的人，一个好的祝福也会来到他们身上。
责备恶人的，必得喜悦；美好的福也必临到他。
But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.

应对正确的，人必与他亲嘴。
给出一个正确回答的人，每个人都会亲他的唇。
应对正直的，犹如与人亲嘴。
Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right answer.

你要在外头预备工料，在田间办理整齐，然后建造房屋。
在外面准备你的工作，在田地里为你自己把它整理好；然后才建造你的房子。

Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house.

不要无故作见证陷害邻居，也不要用唇欺骗人。

不可无故作见证陷害邻舍，也不可用嘴欺骗人。
Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and deceive not with thy lips.

不要说，人怎样待我，我也怎样待他；我必照他所行的报复他。
不要说，他怎么待我，我也要怎么待他；我要按照这人的工作呈给这人。
不可说：“人怎样待我，我也怎样待他；我必照他所行的报复他。”
Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work.

我经过懒惰人的田地、缺乏聪明之人的葡萄园，
我经过懒惰者的田地，和毫无悟性之人的葡萄园；
我经过懒惰人的田地、无知人的葡萄园，
I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding;

看啊，荆棘长满了地皮，刺草遮盖了田面，石墙也坍塌了。
瞧，它长满了荆棘，荨麻遮盖了其脸，其石墙也破了。

And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.

我看见就留心思想；我看着就领受了训诲。

Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.

再睡片时，打盹片时，抱着手睡片时，
再睡一小会，打盹一小会，抱着手睡一小会；

Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:

你的贫穷就必如客旅速来，你的缺乏仿佛拿武器的人来到。
那么你的贫穷就会像个客旅一样来到；你的缺乏也会像个拿武器的人一样来到。
你的贫穷就必如强盗速来，你的缺乏仿佛拿兵器的人来到。
So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.
