智慧难道不呼叫？聪明难道不发出她的声？
智慧没有呼喊吗？悟性没有发出她的声音吗？
智慧岂不呼叫？聪明岂不发声？
Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

她在道旁高处的顶上，在十字路口站立，
她就站在道路旁众高处的顶上，就在各路径顺路的各处。
她在道旁高处的顶上，在十字路口站立，
She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

她在城门旁，在城门口，在城门洞，大声说，
她在众大门旁呼喊，在城的入口，在进城的众门口。
在城门旁，在城门口，在城门洞，大声说：
She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.

人哪，我呼叫你们，我向人的儿子们发声。
男人们啊，我向你们呼叫；我的声音是给人的众子。
“众人哪，我呼叫你们，我向世人发声。
Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.

说，幼稚人哪，你们要明白智慧；愚昧人哪，你们当心里明白。
简单者啊，你们要明白智慧；愚蠢者啊，你们要有一颗悟性的心。
说：愚蒙人哪，你们要会悟灵明；愚昧人哪，你们当心里明白。
O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

要听，因我要说极美的事；我张开唇要说正确的事。
听；因我要讲出众的事情；我的唇打开会是正确的事情。
你们当听，因我要说极美的话；我张嘴要论正直的事。
Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

我的口要说真理；我的唇憎恶邪恶。
因我的口会讲真理；邪恶对于我的唇是个憎物。
我的口要发出真理；我的嘴憎恶邪恶。
For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

我口中的言语都是公义，并无邪僻乖谬。
我口中的所有话语都在正义里；它们里面没有骄横或歪曲。
我口中的言语都是公义，并无弯曲乖僻。
All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

有聪明的以为明显，得知识的以为正确。
它们对于那明白的人都是清楚的，对那些寻找知识的人是正确的。
有聪明的，以为明显，得知识的，以为正直。
They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

你们要接受我的教训，不要白银；宁愿得着知识，胜过黄金。
接受我的指示，而不是银子；接受知识，强过精选的金子。
你们当受我的教训，不受白银；宁得知识，胜过黄金。
Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

因为智慧比红宝石更美；一切可喜爱的都不足与比较。
因为智慧好过红宝石；一切可以渴望的事情都不能与它相比。
因为智慧比珍珠（或译：红宝石）更美；一切可喜爱的都不足与比较。
For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

我智慧与精明一起居住，又找到机智谋略的知识。
我-智慧与审慎一起住，并发现巧妙发明的知识。
“我智慧以灵明为居所，又寻得知识和谋略。
I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.
- 13
耶和华的畏惧在乎恨恶邪恶；那骄傲、狂妄，并邪恶的道路，以及歪曲的口，都为我所恨恶。
主的畏惧就是去恨坏事；骄傲，狂妄，坏的道路，骄横的口，我都恨。
敬畏耶和华在乎恨恶邪恶；那骄傲、狂妄，并恶道，以及乖谬的口，都为我所恨恶。
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

谋略是我的，和真智慧；我是聪明，我有能力。
建议和纯全的智慧是我的；我就是悟性；我有强力。
我有谋略和真知识；我乃聪明，我有能力。
Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.

众王借我统治；王子借我定公平。
借着我，众王统治，并且众王子颁布公正。
帝王藉我坐国位；君王藉我定公平。
By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.
- 16
王子和首领，就是地上所有的审判官，都是借我掌权。
借着我，众王子管理，还有众贵族，就是这地上所有的审判官。
王子和首领，世上一切的审判官，都是藉我掌权。
By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.
- 17
爱我的，我也爱他；早早寻求我的，必找到我。
我爱那些爱我的；那些早早寻求我的会找到我。
爱我的，我也爱他；恳切寻求我的，必寻得见。
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
- 18
丰富尊荣在我；恒久的财并公义也在我。
财物和尊荣都与我在一起；是的，持久的财物和正义。
丰富尊荣在我；恒久的财并公义也在我。
Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.
- 19
我的果实胜过黄金，强过精金；我的出产超乎纯银。
我的果子好过黄金，是的，好过精金；我的收益好过精选的银子。
我的果实胜过黄金，强如精金；我的出产超乎高银。
My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

我在公义的道上走，在公平的路中行，
我在正义的道路里带领，在判决的众路径当中带领；
我在公义的道上走，在公平的路中行，
I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:
- 21
使爱我的，承受货财，并充满他们的府库。
好让我可以使那些爱我的继承实物；我就会充满他们的宝物。
使爱我的，承受货财，并充满他们的府库。
That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

在他道路的起初，在他太古的工作之前，耶和华就拥有了我。
在他道路的开始，在他旧时的工作之前，主已占有了我。
“在耶和华造化的起头，在太初创造万物之先，就有了我。
The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
- 23
从亘古，从起初，没有这地以前，我已被立。
从永远，从一开始，或这地存在以前，我已被建立。
从亘古，从太初，未有世界以前，我已被立。
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
- 24
还没有深渊，没有大水的泉源，我已生出。
当没有众深处时，当没有大量水的众泉源时，我已被生出。
没有深渊，没有大水的泉源，我已生出。
When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.

众山没有奠定，众岭没有之前，我已生出。
群山被安置以前，有山岭以前，我已被生出；
大山未曾奠定，小山未有之先，我已生出。
Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

他还没有造这地和田野，并世上最初的尘土，我已生出。
他还没有这地，没有造田野，也没有造这世界上的尘土的最高部分的时候。
耶和华还没有创造大地和田野，并世上的土质，我已生出。
While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

当他预备诸天时，我在那里；当他在深渊表面的周围，划出界限；
当他准备众天的时候，当他在深处的脸上设立一个圈时，我就在那里；
他立高天，我在那里；他在渊面的周围，划出圆圈。
When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

当他坚立以上的云；当他坚固深渊的泉源；
当他建立上面的众云的时候；当他加强深处的众泉源的时候；
上使穹苍坚硬，下使渊源稳固，
When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

当他给海下命令，使众水不越过他的命令；当他立定这地的根基；
当他把他的旨意给海的时候，使众水不越过他的诫命；当他指定这地的众根基的时候；
为沧海定出界限，使水不越过他的命令，立定大地的根基。
When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

那时，我就在他旁边，如同巧匠和他同在；我是他每天的喜乐，常常在他面前欢喜；
那时，我就在他旁边，像一个和他一起长大的人；并且我是他每天的喜悦，总是在他面前欢喜；
那时，我在他那里为工师，日日为他所喜爱，常常在他面前踊跃，
Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

欢喜他地的居住之处，我的喜乐是与人的儿子们在一起。
在他的地可居住的部分欢喜；我的喜悦与人的儿子们在一起。
踊跃在他为人预备可住之地，也喜悦住在世人之间。
Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

孩子们啊，你们现在要听从我，因为谨守我道的，便为有福。
因此现在，孩子们啊，你们听取我；因为持守我道路的，他们是有福的。
众子啊，现在要听从我，因为谨守我道的，便为有福。
Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.

要听教训就得智慧，不要弃绝它。
听指示，并有智慧，不要弃绝它。
要听教训就得智慧，不可弃绝。
Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
- 34
听从我、每天在我门口仰望、在我门框旁边等候的，那人便为有福。
这人是有福的，就是那听取我，每天在我的众大门守望，在我的众门柱旁等候的。
听从我、日日在我门口仰望、在我门框旁边等候的，那人便为有福。
Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

因为寻见我的，就寻见生命，也必得耶和华的喜悦。
因为无论谁找到了我，就找到了生命，又会获得主的喜爱。
因为寻得我的，就寻得生命，也必蒙耶和华的恩惠。
For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.
- 36
得罪我的，却害了自己的魂；恨恶我的，都爱死亡。
但真对我犯罪的人，就是对他自己的魂犯错；所有恨我的人，他们都爱死亡。
得罪我的，却害了自己的性命；恨恶我的，都喜爱死亡。”
But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
