  1. 1

    (给可拉众子的诗,交给领唱。)万民哪,你们都要听这话。世界上一切的居民,

    (给科拉众子的一首诗,交给首席音乐人。)你们所有的人民,听这个;你们这世界所有的居民,侧耳;

    万民哪,你们都当听这话!世上一切的居民,

    (To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah.) Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world:

  2. 2

    Both low and high, rich and poor, together.

  3. 3

    My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.

  4. 4

    I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.

  5. 5

    Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about?

  6. 6

    那些倚仗财物自夸钱财多的人,

    那些信靠自己的财富,又夸耀自己的财物众多的人;

    那些倚仗财货自夸钱财多的人,

    They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;

  7. 7

    一个也无法赎自己的弟兄,也不能替他将赎价给神,

    他们一个也无法赎自己的弟兄,也不能为自己把一个赎价给神;

    一个也无法赎自己的弟兄,也不能替他将赎价给 神,

    None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:

  8. 8

    叫他长远活着,不见朽坏;

    (因他们魂的救赎是昂贵的,并且它一劳永逸;)

    叫他长远活着,不见朽坏;因为赎他生命的价值极贵,只可永远罢休。

    (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)

  9. 9

    That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption.

  10. 10

    For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.

  11. 11

    Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.

  12. 12

    Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.

  13. 13

    This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.

  14. 14

    Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.

  15. 15

    But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.

  16. 16

    见人发财、家室增荣的时候,你不要惧怕;

    当一个人变得富足,当他家的荣耀增加时,你不要害怕;

    见人发财、家室增荣的时候,你不要惧怕;

    Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;

  17. 17

    For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.

  18. 18

    他活着的时候,虽然他的魂自夸为有福,你若利己,人必夸奖你;

    他活着的时候,尽管他祝福自己的魂;并且当你对自己好时,人们都要赞美你。

    他活着的时候,虽然自夸为有福(你若利己,人必夸奖你);

    Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself.

  19. 19

    He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.

  20. 20

    Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
