大流士王第二年八月，耶和华的话临到先知撒迦利亚，他是比利家的儿子，易多的儿子，说，
在达瑞斯王第二年第八个月里，主的话来到预言者泽卡瑞亚那里，他是贝瑞凯亚的儿子，以多的儿子，说，
大流士王第二年八月，耶和华的话临到易多的孙子、比利家的儿子先知撒迦利亚，说：
In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,

耶和华曾很不喜悦你们父辈。
主一直极其不喜悦你们的父辈。
“耶和华曾向你们列祖大大发怒。
The LORD hath been sore displeased with your fathers.

所以你要对他们说，万军之耶和华如此说，你们要转向我，万军之耶和华说，我就转向你们。这是万军之耶和华说的。
因此，你对他们说，众军之主这样说；你们要转向我，众军之主说，我就会转向你们，这是众军之主说的。
所以你要对以色列人说，万军之耶和华如此说：你们要转向我，我就转向你们。这是万军之耶和华说的。
Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.

不要效法你们的父辈。从前的众先知呼叫他们说，万军之耶和华如此说，你们要回头离开你们的恶道恶行。他们却不听，也不顺从我。这是耶和华说的。
你们不要像你们的父辈那样，从前的众预言者对他们呼喊说，众军之主这样说；你们现在要转离你们的坏道路，和坏做法；但他们不听，也不听取我，这是主说的。
不要效法你们列祖。从前的先知呼叫他们说：‘万军之耶和华如此说：你们要回头离开你们的恶道恶行。’他们却不听，也不顺从我。这是耶和华说的。
Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.

你们的父辈在哪里呢？那些先知能永远存活吗？
你们的父辈，他们在哪里？还有那些预言者，他们能永远活着吗？
你们的列祖在哪里呢？那些先知能永远存活吗？
Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?

只是我的话和律例，就是所命令我仆人众先知的，难道不抓住你们的父辈吗？他们就回头，说，万军之耶和华定意按我们的行动作为向我们怎样行，他已照样行了。
但我的话语和法规，就是命令我众仆人众预言者的，他们难道没有抓住你们的父辈？他们就回转了，又说，众军之主想怎么对我们做，就按照我们的道路，又按照我们的做法，怎么对我们做了。
只是我的言语和律例，就是所吩咐我仆人众先知的，岂不临到你们列祖吗？他们就回头说：‘万军之耶和华定意按我们的行动作为向我们怎样行，他已照样行了。’”
But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.

大流士第二年十一月，就是细罢特月二十四日，耶和华的话临到先知撒迦利亚，他是比利家的儿子，易多的儿子，说，
在达瑞斯第二年第十一个月，就是示巴特月的第二十四天，主的话来到预言者泽卡瑞亚那里，他是贝瑞凯亚的儿子，以多的儿子，说，
大流士第二年十一月，就是细罢特月二十四日，耶和华的话临到易多的孙子、比利家的儿子先知撒迦利亚，说：
Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,

我夜间观看，见一人骑着红马，站在洼地番石榴树中间。在他身后又有红马、有斑点的马，和白马。
我夜里观看，看见一人骑着红马，他站在底部的香桃树当中；在他身后有众红马，有斑纹的，和白色的。
“我夜间观看，见一人骑着红马，站在洼地番石榴树中间。在他身后又有红马、黄马，和白马。”
I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.

我说，我主啊，这些是什么？那与我说话的天使对我说，我要指示你这些是什么。
于是我说，我主啊，这些是什么？那与我说话的天使对我说，我要显给你这些是什么。
我对与我说话的天使说：“主啊，这是什么意思？”他说：“我要指示你这是什么意思。”
Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these be.

那站在番石榴树中间的人说，这些是奉耶和华差到遍地走来走去的。
那站在香桃树当中的人回答说，这些是主派来遍及这地来回走动的。
那站在番石榴树中间的人说：“这是奉耶和华差遣在遍地走来走去的。”
And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.

那些骑马的对站在番石榴树中间耶和华的天使说，我们已在遍地走来走去，见全地都安息平静。
然后他们就回答站在香桃树当中的主的天使，说，我们已遍及这地来回走动，看啊，这全地都平静，并在休息。
那些骑马的对站在番石榴树中间耶和华的使者说：“我们已在遍地走来走去，见全地都安息平静。”
And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.

于是，耶和华的天使回答说，万军之耶和华啊，你恼恨耶路撒冷和犹大的城市已经七十年，你不施怜悯要多久呢？
于是，主的天使回答说，众军之主啊，你不怜悯耶路撒冷，以及犹大的众城市，已经七十年了，你还要愤怒多久？
于是，耶和华的使者说：“万军之耶和华啊，你恼恨耶路撒冷和犹大的城邑已经七十年，你不施怜悯要到几时呢？”
Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?

耶和华就用美善并安慰的话回答那与我说话的天使。
然后主就用好的和安慰的话语，回答那与我说话的天使。
耶和华就用美善的安慰话回答那与我说话的天使。
And the LORD answered the angel that talked with me with good words and comfortable words.

与我说话的天使对我说，你要喊叫说，万军之耶和华如此说，我为耶路撒冷、为锡安嫉妒，大大地嫉妒。
所以那与我交流的天使对我说，你要呼喊，说，众军之主这样说；我以一个极大的嫉妒为耶路撒冷，又为锡安嫉妒。
与我说话的天使对我说：“你要宣告说，万军之耶和华如此说：‘我为耶路撒冷为锡安，心里极其火热。
So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.

我极其不喜悦那安逸的异教徒，因我从前稍不喜悦我民，他们就过分苦害。
我极其不喜悦那些安逸的异教徒，因我从前只是有一点不喜悦，他们就助长了这苦难。
我甚恼怒那安逸的列国，因我从前稍微恼怒我民，他们就加害过分。’
And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.

所以耶和华如此说，我以怜悯回到耶路撒冷，我的家必重建在其中，准绳必拉在耶路撒冷之上。这是万军之耶和华说的。
因此，主这样说；我以诸多怜悯返回到耶路撒冷；我的家会在它里面被建造，并且一条测量线会拉在耶路撒冷上，这是众军之主说的。
所以耶和华如此说：‘现今我回到耶路撒冷，仍施怜悯，我的殿必重建在其中，准绳必拉在耶路撒冷之上。’这是万军之耶和华说的。
Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.

你要喊着说，万军之耶和华如此说，我的城市必因昌盛传开。耶和华必安慰锡安，拣选耶路撒冷。
还要呼喊说，众军之主这样说；我的众城市通过繁荣还会蔓延到国外；并且主还会安慰锡安，又会拣选耶路撒冷。
你要再宣告说，万军之耶和华如此说：‘我的城邑必再丰盛发达。耶和华必再安慰锡安，拣选耶路撒冷。’”
Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

我举目观看，见有四角。
于是我抬起我的眼睛，观看，看见四根尖角。
我举目观看，见有四角。
Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.

我就问与我说话的天使说，这些是什么？他回答说，这些是分散犹大、以色列，和耶路撒冷的角。
我就对那与我说话的天使说，这些是什么？他回答我，这些是把犹大，以色列，耶路撒冷分散开的尖角。
我就问与我说话的天使说：“这是什么意思？”他回答说：“这是打散犹大、以色列，和耶路撒冷的角。”
And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.

耶和华又向我指示四个木匠。
主又显给我四个木匠。
耶和华又指四个匠人给我看。
And the LORD shewed me four carpenters.
21
我说，他们来作什么呢？他说，这些是分散犹大的角，使人不敢抬头；但这些木匠来威吓他们，打掉外邦人的众角，就是举起他们的角，打散犹大地的那些外邦人。
于是我说，他们来做什么？他讲，说，这些是分散犹大的尖角，以至于没人敢抬起他的头；但这些是来破坏众尖角的，要把外邦人的众尖角扔出去，就是在犹大的土地上举起他们的尖角，分散这地的那些外邦人。
我说：“他们来做什么呢？”他说：“这是打散犹大的角，使人不敢抬头；但这些匠人来威吓列国，打掉他们的角，就是举起打散犹大地的角。”
Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
