   那些日子，当门徒们的数量增多，有希腊人向希伯来人发怨言，因为在每天的供给上忽略了他们的寡妇。

   在那些日子里，当门徒们的数量成倍增加，希腊人就对希伯来人有了牢骚，因为他们的寡妇在每天的服侍上被忽略了。

   那时，门徒增多，有说希腊话的犹太人向希伯来人发怨言，因为在天天的供给上忽略了他们的寡妇。

   And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

2. 2

   十二使徒叫众门徒来，对他们说，我们撇下神的道去管理饭食，是不合宜的。

   于是那十二个就叫众多的门徒的到他们那里，说，我们离开神的话去服务桌子，是不合理的。

   十二使徒叫众门徒来，对他们说：“我们撇下　神的道去管理饭食，原是不合宜的。

   Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

   所以弟兄们，当从你们中间选出七个有好名声，被圣灵充满，智慧充足的人，我们就任命他们管理这事。

   所以，弟兄们，从你们当中找出七个有诚实的名声，充满了神圣之魄和智慧的人，我们可以指定他们管理这事。

   所以弟兄们，当从你们中间选出七个有好名声、被圣灵充满、智慧充足的人，我们就派他们管理这事。

   Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

4. 4

   但我们要专心不住地祷告和传道。

   但我们要任由我们自己去持续地祷告，并去服侍这话。

   但我们要专心以祈祷、传道为事。”

   But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

   大家都喜悦这话，就拣选了司提反，一个满有信心和圣灵的人，又拣选腓利、伯罗哥罗、尼迦挪、提门、巴米拿，并进犹太教的安提阿人尼哥拉，

   并且全部大众都喜悦这话；他们就选择了斯迪芬，一个充满信心和神圣之魄的人，还有菲利普，普若克如斯，尼卡挪，提门，帕米拿斯和安提奥克的一个入教者尼科拉斯；

   大众都喜悦这话，就拣选了司提反，乃是大有信心、圣灵充满的人，又拣选腓利、伯罗哥罗、尼迦挪、提门、巴米拿，并进犹太教的安提阿人尼哥拉，

   And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

   叫他们站在使徒们面前。他们祷告了，他们就给他们按手。

   他们就把他们放在使徒们面前；当他们请求了，他们把他们的手放在他们身上。

   叫他们站在使徒面前。使徒祷告了，就按手在他们头上。

   Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

   神的道增长起来；在耶路撒冷门徒数目加增的很多，也有许多祭司顺从了这信心。

   然后神的话就增长；在耶路撒冷门徒的数目成倍剧增；也有一个祭司的巨大团体顺服了这信心。

   神的道兴旺起来；在耶路撒冷门徒数目加增的甚多，也有许多祭司信从了这道。

   And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

8. 8

   司提反满了信心和能力，在百姓中间行了大奇事和神迹。

   斯迪芬，充满信心和权力，在人民中做了些大奇事和神迹。

   司提反满得恩惠、能力，在民间行了大奇事和神迹。

   And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

   当时有称利百地拿会堂的几个人，并有古利奈、亚力山大、基利家、亚细亚、各处会堂的几个人，都起来和司提反辩论。

   于是有一些人起来，就是被叫作自由人会堂的人，和昔兰尼人，并亚历山大人，以及来自西利西亚和亚细亚的人，他们与斯迪芬辩论。

   当时有称利百地拿会堂的几个人，并有古利奈、亚历山大、基利家、亚细亚各处会堂的几个人，都起来和司提反辩论。

   Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.

10. 10

    他是以智慧和灵说话，他们敌挡不住，

    并且他们抵挡不住他借智慧和灵说的。

    司提反是以智慧和圣灵说话，众人敌挡不住，

    And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

11. 11

    然后他们就收买人说，我们听见他说亵渎摩西和神的话语。

    于是他们就收买众人说，我们听见他说亵渎的话语针对摩西和神。

    就买出人来说：“我们听见他说谤讟摩西和　神的话。”

    Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God.

12. 12

    他们又煽动了百姓、长老，并文士，就来抓他，把他带到公会去，

    然后他们就激起了人民，众长者，众抄写员，来到他那里，并抓住他，又把他带到议会去，

    他们又耸动了百姓、长老，并文士，就忽然来捉拿他，把他带到公会去，

    And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,

    设下假见证，说，这个人不住地说亵渎的话语，攻击圣所和律法。

    然后就设立假见证人，他们说，这人不住地说亵渎的话语，针对这神圣的地方和法律；

    设下假见证，说：“这个人说话，不住地糟践圣所和律法。

    And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:

    因为我们曾听见他说，这拿撒勒人耶稣要毁坏此地，也要改变摩西所交给我们的规条。

    因我们听见他说，这拿撒勒的耶稣要毁灭这个地方，并且改变摩西交付给我们的习俗。

    我们曾听见他说，这拿撒勒人耶稣要毁坏此地，也要改变摩西所交给我们的规条。”

    For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.

15. 15

    在公会里坐着的人都定睛看他，见他的面貌，好像一个天使的面貌。

    然后所有坐在议会里的人，都定睛看着他，见他的脸，就像一个天使的脸。

    在公会里坐着的人都定睛看他，见他的面貌，好像天使的面貌。

    And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.
