然后，我们转回，从红海的路往旷野去，是照耶和华所告诉我的。我们在西珥山绕行了许多天。
然后我们转身，起程经过红海的道路进入荒野，正如主对我讲的；我们绕了西耳山许多天。
“此后，我们转回，从红海的路往旷野去，是照耶和华所吩咐我的。我们在西珥山绕行了许多日子。
Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.

耶和华对我说，
主对我讲话，说，
耶和华对我说：
And the LORD spake unto me, saying,
3
你们绕行这山的日子够久了，要转向北去。
你们绕这山够久了；你们转向北方吧。
‘你们绕行这山的日子够了，要转向北去。
Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.
4
你命令百姓说，你们弟兄以扫的儿女住在西珥，你们要经过他们的境界。他们必害怕你们，所以你们要分外谨慎。
你命令人民，说，你们要经过你们的众弟兄以扫孩子们的边境，他们住在西耳；他们会害怕你们；因此你们自己要留心；
你吩咐百姓说：你们弟兄以扫的子孙住在西珥，你们要经过他们的境界。他们必惧怕你们，所以你们要分外谨慎。
And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:

不能与他们争战；他们的地，连脚掌可踏之处，我都不给你们，因我已将西珥山给以扫为业。
不要干涉他们；因他们的土地，我不会给你们，不，连脚掌大的一块都不给；因为我已把西耳山给以扫作为一个拥有地。
不可与他们争战；他们的地，连脚掌可踏之处，我都不给你们，因我已将西珥山赐给以扫为业。
Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.

你们要用钱向他们买粮吃，也要用钱向他们买水喝。
你们要用钱向他们买食物，使你们可以吃；你们也要用钱向他们买水，使你们可以喝。
你们要用钱向他们买粮吃，也要用钱向他们买水喝。
Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.
7
因为耶和华你的神在你手里所办的一切事上已祝福你。你走这大旷野，他都知道了。这四十年，耶和华你的神与你同在，因此你一无所缺。
因为主你的神在你的手所做的一切工作里已经祝福了你；他知道你在这大荒野的行走；这四十年，主你的神与你在一起；你一无所缺。
因为耶和华你的　神在你手里所办的一切事上已赐福与你。你走这大旷野，他都知道了。这四十年，耶和华你的　神常与你同在，故此你一无所缺。’
For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

于是，我们离了我们弟兄以扫儿女所住的西珥，从平原的路，经过以拉他、以旬迦别，转向摩押旷野的路去。
当我们经过住西耳的我们众弟兄以扫的孩子们时，我们从埃拉斯和以茨安加伯，穿过平原的道路，转向并经过摩阿布荒野的路。
“于是，我们离了我们弟兄以扫子孙所住的西珥，从亚拉巴的路，经过以拉他、以旬·迦别，转向摩押旷野的路去。
And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Eziongaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

耶和华对我说，不能扰害摩押人，也不能与他们争战。他们的地，我不给你为业，因我已将亚珥给罗得的儿女为业。
主对我说，不要危害摩阿布人，也不要与他们打仗；因他们的土地，我不会给你作一个拥有地；因为我已把阿耳给罗特的孩子们作一个拥有地。
耶和华吩咐我说：‘不可扰害摩押人，也不可与他们争战。他们的地，我不赐给你为业，因我已将亚珥赐给罗得的子孙为业。’
And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.

之前，有以米人住在那里，民数众多，身体高大，像亚衲人一样。
以前埃明人住在那里，人民众多，高大，像阿拿克人一样；
先前，有以米人住在那里，民数众多，身体高大，像亚衲人一样。
The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims;

这以米人像亚衲人；也算为巨人；摩押人称他们为以米人。
他们就像阿拿克人，也算为巨人；但摩阿布人称他们为埃明人。
这以米人像亚衲人；也算为利乏音人；摩押人称他们为以米人。
Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites called them Emims.

之前，何利人也住在西珥，但以扫的儿女将他们除灭，得了他们的地，接着居住，就如以色列在耶和华给他为业之地所行的一样。
以前和瑞人也住在西耳；但当以扫的孩子们从他们面前毁灭他们时，就接替他们居住；就如以色列在主给他为拥有地的土地上做的一样。
先前，何利人也住在西珥，但以扫的子孙将他们除灭，得了他们的地，接着居住，就如以色列在耶和华赐给他为业之地所行的一样。
The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the LORD gave unto them.

现在，起来过撒烈溪。于是我们过了撒烈溪。
我说，你们现在要起来，过泽瑞得溪。我们就过了泽瑞得溪。
现在，起来过撒烈溪！于是我们过了撒烈溪。
Now rise up, said I, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.

自从离开加低斯巴尼亚，到过了撒烈溪的时候，共有三十八年，等那世代能打仗的人从军中全都灭了，正如耶和华向他们所起的誓。
自我们从卡得示巴尼亚来，到我们过了泽瑞得溪的间隙，是三十八年；等那世代争战的人们从军队当中全都废了，正如主向他们发的誓。
自从离开加低斯·巴尼亚，到过了撒烈溪的时候，共有三十八年，等那世代的兵丁都从营中灭尽，正如耶和华向他们所起的誓。
And the space in which we came from Kadeshbarnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the LORD sware unto them.

耶和华的手实在是攻击他们，将他们从军中除灭，直到灭完。
因主的手确实是针对他们，把他们从军队当中毁灭，直到他们被消灭掉。
耶和华的手也攻击他们，将他们从营中除灭，直到灭尽。
For indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed.
16
打仗的人从民中都死亡以后，
所以就这样发生了，当所有争战的人们从人民当中都被消灭并死亡以后，
“兵丁从民中都灭尽死亡以后，
So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,
17
耶和华对我说，
主对我讲话，说，
耶和华吩咐我说：
That the LORD spake unto me, saying,
18
你今天要从摩押的境界亚珥经过，
你今天要从摩阿布的边境阿耳经过；
‘你今天要从摩押的境界亚珥经过，
Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:
19
走近亚扪儿女，不能扰害他们，也不能与他们争战。亚扪儿女的地，我不给你们，因我已将那地给罗得的儿女为业。
当你走近阿门孩子们的时候，不要危害他们，也不要干涉他们；因阿门孩子们的拥有地，我不会给你；因为我已把它给罗特的孩子们作一个拥有地。
走近亚扪人之地，不可扰害他们，也不可与他们争战。亚扪人的地，我不赐给你们为业，因我已将那地赐给罗得的子孙为业。’
And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.

（那地也算为巨人之地，之前巨人住在那里，亚扪人称他们为散送冥。
（那也算为巨人之土地；古时候巨人住在那里；阿门人称他们为扎祖明；
那地也算为利乏音人之地，先前利乏音人住在那里，亚扪人称他们为散送冥。
(That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;

那民众多，身体高大，像亚衲人一样，但耶和华从他们面前消灭他们，他们就得了那地，接着居住。
那是一大群，又多，又高的人民，像阿拿克人一样；但主从阿门人面前毁灭他们；阿门人就接替他们居住；
那民众多，身体高大，像亚衲人一样，但耶和华从亚扪人面前除灭他们，亚扪人就得了他们的地，接着居住。
A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead:
22
正如他从前为住西珥的以扫儿女将何利人从他们面前消灭、他们得了何利人的地、接着居住一样，直到今天。
正如他从前为住西耳的以扫孩子们把和瑞人从他们面前毁灭；他们就接替他们居住，直到今天；
正如耶和华从前为住西珥的以扫子孙将何利人从他们面前除灭、他们得了何利人的地、接着居住一样，直到今日。
As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:
23
从迦斐托出来的迦斐托人将之前住在哈撒音直到加沙的亚卫人消灭，接着居住。）
然后从卡弗特出来的卡弗特人把之前住在哈泽瑞姆直到阿扎的阿文人毁灭，并接替他们居住。）
从迦斐托出来的迦斐托人将先前住在乡村直到迦萨的亚卫人除灭，接着居住。
And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.)

你们起来前往，过亚嫩河；看啊，我已将亚摩利人希实本王西宏和他的地交在你手中，你要与他争战，得他的地为业。
你们起来，开始你们的行程，过阿农河；看啊，我已把阿摩瑞人海实本王西宏和他的土地交在你手中；你要与他打仗，开始占有它。
你们起来前往，过亚嫩谷；我已将亚摩利人希实本王西宏和他的地交在你手中，你要与他争战，得他的地为业。
Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.
25
从今天起，我要开始叫你的恐惧和你的畏惧临到全天下万邦，他们必听到你的传闻，就颤抖，必因你陷入痛苦。
从今天起，我要开始让你的惧怕和你的畏惧临到全天下的各国，他们要听到你的报告，并要颤抖，又要因为你而陷入困苦。
从今日起，我要使天下万民听见你的名声都惊恐惧怕，且因你发颤伤恸。”
This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.
26
我从基底莫的旷野差使者去见希实本王西宏，用和睦的话说，
我从凯得摩斯的荒野派使者去见海实本王西宏，用和平的话语，说，
“我从基底莫的旷野差遣使者去见希实本王西宏，用和睦的话说：
And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

让我从你的地经过，只走大道，不偏左右。
让我从你的土地经过；我会只走大道，不会转向右手边或左边。
‘求你容我从你的地经过，只走大道，不偏左右。
Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn unto the right hand nor to the left.
28
你可以卖粮给我吃，也可以卖水给我喝，只要让我步行过去，
你可以收钱卖食物给我，这样我可以吃；也可以收钱卖水给我，这样我可以喝；我只是步行过去；
你可以卖粮给我吃，也可以卖水给我喝，只要容我步行过去，
Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet;
29
（就如住西珥的以扫儿女和住亚珥的摩押人待我一样；）等我过了约旦河，好进入耶和华我们神所给我们的地。
（就如住在西耳里的以扫的孩子们和住在阿耳里的摩阿布人待我一样；）直到我过了约旦，进入主我们的神给我们的土地。
就如住西珥的以扫子孙和住亚珥的摩押人待我一样，等我过了约旦河，好进入耶和华我们　神所赐给我们的地。’
(As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me;) until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our God giveth us.
30
但希实本王西宏不让我们从他那里经过；因为耶和华你的神使他的灵刚硬，他的心顽梗，为要将他交在你手中，像今天一样。
但海实本王西宏不让我们越过他那里；因为主你的神刚硬他的灵，使他的心顽梗，为要把他交在你的手中，像今天出现的一样。
但希实本王西宏不容我们从他那里经过；因为耶和华你的　神使他心中刚硬，性情顽梗，为要将他交在你手中，像今日一样。
But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.
31
耶和华对我说，看啊，从此开始，我要将西宏和他的地交给你；你要得他的地为业。
主对我说，看啊，我已开始在你面前把西宏和他的土地给你；开始去占有吧，使你可以继承他的土地。
耶和华对我说：‘从此起首，我要将西宏和他的地交给你；你要得他的地为业。’
And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.
32
那时，西宏和他的所有人民出来攻击我们，在雅杂与我们交战。
那时，西宏和他的所有人民出来攻击我们，在雅哈兹打仗。
那时，西宏和他的众民出来攻击我们，在雅杂与我们交战。
Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz.
33
耶和华我们的神将他交给我们，我们就把他和他的众子，并他的所有人民，都击杀了。
主我们的神在我们面前把他交给我们；我们重击了他和他的众子，并他的所有人民。
耶和华我们的　神将他交给我们，我们就把他和他的儿子，并他的众民，都击杀了。
And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.
34
我们夺了他的一切城市，将各城的男人，连女人带小孩子，尽都毁灭，没有留下一个。
那时我们夺了他的一切城市，把各城的男人，连女人带小孩子，彻底毁灭，我们没有留下一个；
我们夺了他的一切城邑，将有人烟的各城，连女人带孩子，尽都毁灭，没有留下一个。
And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain:
35
唯有牲畜和所夺的各城，并其中的财物，都取为自己的掠物。
我们只取牲畜为我们自己的掠物，和我们夺取的各城中的战利品。
惟有牲畜和所夺的各城，并其中的财物，都取为自己的掠物。
Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took.
36
从亚嫩河边的亚罗珥和谷中的城，直到基列，耶和华我们的神都交给我们了，没有一座城坚固得使我们不能攻取的。
从阿农河边的阿若耳以及河边的城，直到基拉得，没有一座城对我们来说是太过坚固的；主我们的神都交给了我们；
从亚嫩谷边的亚罗珥和谷中的城，直到基列，耶和华我们的　神都交给我们了，没有一座城高得使我们不能攻取的。
From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:
37
唯有亚扪儿女之地，凡靠近雅博河的地，并山地的城市，与耶和华我们神所禁止我们去的地方，都没有挨近。
只有阿门孩子们的土地你没有靠近，也没有去靠近雅伯克河的任何地方，并山里的众城，还有主我们的神禁止我们去的无论什么地方。
惟有亚扪人之地，凡靠近雅博河的地，并山地的城邑，与耶和华我们　神所禁止我们去的地方，都没有挨近。”
Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our God forbad us.
