   约伯回答耶和华说，

   于是约伯回答主，说，

   约伯回答耶和华说：

   Then Job answered the LORD, and said,

   我知道，你凡事都能作，你的旨意不能拦阻。

   我知道，你任何事都能做，没有从你来的想法能被阻挠。

   “我知道你万事都能做；你的旨意不能拦阻。

   I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.

3. 3

   谁用无知的言语使你的旨意隐藏呢？因此，我所说的是我不明白的；这些事对我来说太奇妙，是我不知道的。

   谁能以无知隐藏你的建议？因此，我讲出的是我不明白的；这些事对我来说太奇妙，是我不知道的。

   谁用无知的言语使你的旨意隐藏呢？我所说的是我不明白的；这些事太奇妙，是我不知道的。

   Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

   求你听我，我要说话；我问你，求你指示我。

   我恳请你，听我，我就说话；我要向你发问，然后你向我表明。

   Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

   我从前风闻有你，现在亲眼看见你。

   我以前凭着耳朵听说过你；但现在我的眼睛看见了你。

   我从前风闻有你，现在亲眼看见你。

   I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.

   因此我厌恶自己，在尘土和炉灰中悔改。

   所以，我厌恶自己，并且在尘土和炉灰里后悔。

   因此我厌恶自己（或译：我的言语），在尘土和炉灰中懊悔。”

   Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

   耶和华对约伯说了这些话以后，耶和华就对提幔人以利法说，我的怒气向你和你两个朋友发作，因为你们议论我不如我的仆人约伯说的是。

   就这样，主对约伯说了这些话以后，主就对提幔人以利法兹说，我的怒火针对你，并针对你的两个朋友被点燃了；因为你们说的关于我的事不如我的仆人约伯说的正确。

   耶和华对约伯说话以后，就对提幔人以利法说：“我的怒气向你和你两个朋友发作，因为你们议论我不如我的仆人约伯说的是。

   And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

8. 8

   现在你们要取七只公牛，七只公羊，到我仆人约伯那里去，为自己献上燔祭，我的仆人约伯要为你们祷告。我必因为他而悦纳，免得我按你们的愚妄办你们。你们议论我，不如我的仆人约伯说的是。

   因此，你们要取七只公牛和七只公羊，并到我仆人约伯那里去，又为自己祀上焚烧祭；然后我的仆人约伯要为你们请求；我就会因为他而接受；以免我按你们的愚昧处理你们，你们说的关于我的事，不如我的仆人约伯说的正确。

   现在你们要取七只公牛，七只公羊，到我仆人约伯那里去，为自己献上燔祭，我的仆人约伯就为你们祈祷。我因悦纳他，就不按你们的愚妄办你们。你们议论我，不如我的仆人约伯说的是。”

   Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.

9. 9

   于是提幔人以利法、书亚人比勒达、拿玛人琐法照着耶和华所命令他们的去行；耶和华就悦纳约伯。

   所以提幔人以利法兹，书亚人比尔达得，拿玛人琐法，就去按照主命令他们的做了；主也接受了约伯。

   于是提幔人以利法、书亚人比勒达、拿玛人琐法照着耶和华所吩咐的去行；耶和华就悦纳约伯。

   So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job.

10. 10

    约伯为他的朋友们祷告。耶和华就使约伯从掳掠中转回，并且耶和华给约伯的比他从前所有的加倍。

    当约伯为他的朋友们请求时，主就使约伯从掳掠中转回来；主还给了约伯他之前拥有的双倍。

    约伯为他的朋友祈祷。耶和华就使约伯从苦境（原文是掳掠）转回，并且耶和华赐给他的比他从前所有的加倍。

    And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

11. 11

    约伯的一切弟兄、姐妹，和以前所认识的人都来见他，在他家里与他一起吃饭；又说到耶和华所降给他的一切灾祸，都为他悲伤安慰他。每人也送他一块钱和一个金耳环。

    于是约伯的所有弟兄，所有姐妹，之前认识的所有人，都来到他那里，并且在他家里与他一起吃饼；然后说到主带给他的一切坏事，他们都惋惜他，并安慰他；每个人都给了他一块钱，并且每个人都给了他一个金耳环。

    约伯的弟兄、姐妹，和以先所认识的人都来见他，在他家里一同吃饭；又论到耶和华所降与他的一切灾祸，都为他悲伤安慰他。每人也送他一块银子和一个金环。

    Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.

12. 12

    这样，耶和华后来祝福给约伯比之前更多。他有一万四千羊，六千骆驼，一千对牛，一千母驴。

    所以，主祝福了约伯后来的结局，超过他的开始；因他有一万四千只羊，六千只骆驼，一千对牛，一千只母驴。

    这样，耶和华后来赐福给约伯比先前更多。他有一万四千羊，六千骆驼，一千对牛，一千母驴。

    So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

    他也有七个儿子，三个女儿。

    He had also seven sons and three daughters.

14. 14

    他给长女起名叫耶米玛，次女叫基洗亚，三女叫基连哈朴。

    他给第一个起名叫耶米马；第二个名叫凯兹亚；第三个名叫凯润哈帕克。

    And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch.

15. 15

    在那全地的女人中找不着像约伯的女儿们那样美貌。她们的父亲使她们在她们的弟兄中得产业。

    在所有土地中的女人里，找不到像约伯的女儿们那样漂亮的；她们的父亲在她们的弟兄们当中给了她们产业。

    And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.

16. 16

    此后，约伯又活了一百四十年，看见他的儿子们，和他儿子们的儿子们，直到四代。

    这事以后，约伯活了一百四十年，看见了他的儿子们，他儿子们的儿子们，就是四个世代。

    此后，约伯又活了一百四十年，得见他的儿孙，直到四代。

    After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations.

17. 17

    这样，约伯老了，日子满足而死。

    所以，约伯老了日子满足而死。

    这样，约伯年纪老迈，日子满足而死。

    So Job died, being old and full of days.
