喜爱管教的，就是喜爱知识；但恨恶责备的，是畜类。
无论谁爱指示就爱知识；但恨责备的人，他是禽兽。

Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.

良善人必得耶和华的喜悦；但邪恶的人，他必定他的罪。
一个好人获得主的喜爱；但一个出邪恶计谋的人他要刑罚。
善人必蒙耶和华的恩惠；设诡计的人，耶和华必定他的罪。
A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

人靠恶行不能坚立；但义人的根必不动摇。
一个人不会借邪恶被建立；但正义者的根不会被移动。

A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.

才德的女人是她丈夫的冠冕；但羞耻的女人如同朽烂在她丈夫的骨中。

A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.

The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.

The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.

He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread.

He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.

恶人想得坏人的网罗；但义人的根得以结果。
恶者渴望坏人们的网；但正义者的根长出果子。

The wicked desireth the net of evil men: but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.

The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.

一个人借自己口的果子，会被好事满足；一个人双手的报酬，会被呈现给他自己。

A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.

愚妄人所行的，在自己眼中看为正确；但智慧人听人的劝教。
一个愚蠢者的道路，在自己眼里是正的；但听取建议的人，他是智慧的。

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

愚妄人的恼怒立时显露；但一个精明人能忍辱藏羞。
一个愚蠢者的怒火当下就被知道；但一个审慎的人遮盖羞愧。

A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.

说真理的，显明公义；但作假见证的，显出诡诈。
说真理的人，他显出正义；但一个假见证人，显出欺骗。
说出真话的，显明公义；作假见证的，显出诡诈。
He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.

有人说话如剑刺人；但智慧人的舌头却是医治。
有人讲话像一把剑刺的孔；但智者的舌头是健康。
说话浮躁的，如刀刺人；智慧人的舌头却为医人的良药。
There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.

真理的唇，永远坚立；但说谎的舌，只存片时。
真理的唇会永远被建立；但一个说谎的舌只为片刻。
口吐真言，永远坚立；舌说谎话，只存片时。
The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.

图谋恶事的，心存诡诈；但劝人和睦的，便得喜乐。
欺骗在那些想象坏事的人的心里；但欢喜归于和平的议士。

Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.

义人不遭灾害；但恶人满受罪恶。
不会有坏事发生在公正者身上；但恶者会满了毒害。

There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.

说谎言的唇为耶和华所憎恶；但行事诚实的，为他所喜悦。

Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.

通达人隐藏知识；愚昧人的心彰显愚昧。
A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.

殷勤人的手必掌权；但懒惰的人必服苦。

The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.

Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.

义人强如他的邻居；但恶人的道勾引他们。
正义者比他的邻居更出众；但恶者的道路勾引他们。
义人引导他的邻舍；恶人的道叫人失迷。
The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.

懒惰的人不烤打猎所得的；殷勤人的财物却很宝贵。
懒惰的人不烤他的打猎取得的；但一个殷勤的人的实体是宝贵的。

The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.

在公义的道上有生命；其路之中并无死亡。
在正义的道路里就是生命；在其路径里没有死亡。

In the way of righteousness is life: and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
