智慧女人建立她的家；但愚妄女人亲手拆毁。
每个智慧的女人都建造她的家；但愚蠢者用她的双手拆毁。
智慧妇人建立家室；愚妄妇人亲手拆毁。
Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.

行动正直的，畏惧耶和华；但行事乖僻的，藐视他。
在自己的正直里行走的人，他畏惧主；但在自己的道路里歪曲的人，他藐视他。
行动正直的，敬畏耶和华；行事乖僻的，却藐视他。
He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.

愚妄人的口中是骄傲的杖；但智慧人的唇必保守他们。
愚蠢者的口里是一根骄傲的杖；但智者的唇会保全他们。
愚妄人口中骄傲，如杖责打己身；智慧人的嘴必保守自己。
In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.

家里无牛，槽头干净；但土产加多是凭牛力。
没有牛的地方，饲槽是洁净的；但许多出产是借牛的强力。
家里无牛，槽头干净；土产加多乃凭牛力。
Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox.

诚实见证人不说谎话；但假见证人吐出谎言。
一个守信的见证人不会说谎；但一个假见证人会发出谎话。
诚实见证人不说谎话；假见证人吐出谎言。
A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.

亵慢人寻智慧，却寻不着；但聪明人易得知识。
一个鄙视者寻求智慧，却找不到它；但对于那理解的人，知识是容易的。
亵慢人寻智慧，却寻不着；聪明人易得知识。
A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth.

当你从他的唇里面找不到知识，就要从愚昧人面前走开。
当你在一个愚蠢的人的里面察觉不到知识的唇的时候，就离开他的同在。
到愚昧人面前，不见他嘴中有知识。
Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.

精明人的智慧在乎明白己道；但愚昧人的愚妄是自欺。
审慎者的智慧是去明白他的道路；但愚蠢者的愚昧是欺骗。
通达人的智慧在乎明白己道；愚昧人的愚妄乃是诡诈（或译：自叹）。
The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.

愚妄人嘲弄罪；但在义人当中有喜爱。
愚蠢者笑话罪；但在正义者当中有喜爱。
愚妄人犯罪，以为戏耍（或译：赎愆祭愚弄愚妄人）；正直人互相喜悦。
Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.

自己的苦楚，心知道；自己的喜乐，外人无干。
心知道他自己的苦；一个外人掺和不了他的欢喜。
心中的苦楚，自己知道；心里的喜乐，外人无干。
The heart knoweth his own bitterness; and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy.

奸恶人的家必倾倒；但正直人的帐幕必兴盛。
恶者的家会被推倒；但正直者的帐幕会兴盛。
奸恶人的房屋必倾倒；正直人的帐棚必兴盛。
The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.

有一条路，人以为正，但至终成为死亡之路。
有一条对一个人来说看为正确的道路，但其尽头是死亡的众道路。
有一条路，人以为正，至终成为死亡之路。
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

人在喜笑中，心也忧愁；快乐至极就是沉重。
就算在笑声里，心是悲伤的；欢乐的尽头就是沉重的。
人在喜笑中，心也忧愁；快乐至极就生愁苦。
Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness.

心中背道的，必满得自己的结果；善人必从自己得满足。
心里背道的人会被他自己的众道路填满；一个好人会从他自己被满足。
心中背道的，必满得自己的结果；善人必从自己的行为得以知足。
The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

幼稚的是话都信；但精明的人步步小心。
简单者信每一句话；但审慎的人小心他的去向。
愚蒙人是话都信；通达人步步谨慎。
The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.

智慧人畏惧，就远离恶事；但愚妄人却狂傲自恃。
一个智慧的人畏惧，就脱离坏事；但愚蠢者暴怒，又是自信的。
智慧人惧怕，就远离恶事；愚妄人却狂傲自恃。
A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.

轻易发怒的，行事愚妄；设立诡计的，被人恨恶。
很快生气的人，他做事愚蠢；一个出邪恶计谋的人是遭恨的。
轻易发怒的，行事愚妄；设立诡计的，被人恨恶。
He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.

幼稚的以愚昧为产业；但精明的以知识为冠冕。
简单者继承愚昧；但审慎者被知识加冕。
愚蒙人得愚昧为产业；通达人得知识为冠冕。
The simple inherit folly: but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.

坏人俯伏在善人面前；恶人俯伏在义人门口。
坏人在好人面前屈身；邪恶者在正义者的众大门屈身。
坏人俯伏在善人面前；恶人俯伏在义人门口。
The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.

贫穷人连他的邻居也恨他；但富足人朋友很多。
贫穷者甚至他自己的邻居都恨他；但富足者有很多朋友。
贫穷人连邻舍也恨他；富足人朋友最多。
The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends.
- 21
藐视他邻居的人有罪；但怜悯贫穷的人，他是快乐的。
藐视他邻居的人，他犯罪了；但对贫穷者有怜悯的人，他是快乐的。
藐视邻舍的，这人有罪；怜悯贫穷的，这人有福。
He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.

谋恶的，难道不走入迷途吗？但谋善的，必得怜悯和真理。
策划坏事的人，难道他们没错？但怜悯和真理会归于策划好事的人。
谋恶的，岂非走入迷途吗？谋善的，必得慈爱和诚实。
Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good.

一切劳累都有益处；但唇上多言导致穷乏。
在所有的劳动里都有益处；但嘴唇的谈论只导致贫困。
诸般勤劳都有益处；嘴上多言乃致穷乏。
In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.

智慧人的富足为自己的冠冕；但愚妄人的愚昧终是愚昧。
智者的冠冕是他们的财物；但愚蠢者的愚蠢是愚昧。
智慧人的财为自己的冠冕；愚妄人的愚昧终是愚昧。
The crown of the wise is their riches: but the foolishness of fools is folly.

作真见证的，救人的魂；但作假见证的，吐出谎言。
一个真实的见证救众魂；但一个欺骗的见证说谎话。
作真见证的，救人性命；吐出谎言的，施行诡诈。
A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies.

在耶和华的畏惧里，大有倚靠；他的孩子们也有避难之处。
在主的畏惧里是坚强的自信；他的孩子们也会有个避难的地方。
敬畏耶和华的，大有倚靠；他的儿女也有避难所。
In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

耶和华的畏惧就是生命的泉源，可以使人离开死亡的网罗。
主的畏惧是一个生命的泉源，为了脱离死亡的众网罗。
敬畏耶和华就是生命的泉源，可以使人离开死亡的网罗。
The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.

君王荣耀在乎民多；但王子衰败在乎民少。
许多的人民是王的尊荣；但缺乏人民是王子的毁灭。
帝王荣耀在乎民多；君王衰败在乎民少。
In the multitude of people is the king's honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince.

慢慢发怒的，大有聪明；但灵性暴躁的，大显愚妄。
慢慢发火的人，他有大悟性；但灵匆忙的人，他高举愚昧。
不轻易发怒的，大有聪明；性情暴躁的，大显愚妄。
He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

健康的心是肉体的生命；但嫉妒是骨中的朽烂。
一颗纯全的心是肉体的生命；但妒忌是骨头的腐烂。
心中安静是肉体的生命；嫉妒是骨中的朽烂。
A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.

欺压贫穷的，是辱没他的创造者；但怜悯贫穷的，是尊敬主。
欺压贫穷者的人，他责备他的制造者；但尊荣他的人，他对贫穷者有怜悯。
欺压贫寒的，是辱没造他的主；怜悯穷乏的，乃是尊敬主。
He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.

恶人在所行的恶上必被赶走；但义人就是在死中也有指望。
恶者在他自己的邪恶里被赶走；但正义者在他的死里有盼望。
恶人在所行的恶上必被推倒；义人临死，有所投靠。
The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.

智慧安息在有聪明的心中；但愚昧人心里所存的，显而易见。
智慧在有悟性的人心里休息；但那在愚蠢者中间的是被知道的。
智慧存在聪明人心中；愚昧人心里所存的，显而易见。
Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.

公义使邦国高举；但罪恶是人民的羞辱。
正义升高一个国；但罪对任何人民都是一个耻辱。
公义使邦国高举；罪恶是人民的羞辱。
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

智慧的仆人蒙王喜悦；但导致羞耻的仆人遭王震怒。
王的喜爱是向着一个智慧的仆人；但他的怒火攻击那导致羞愧的人。
智慧的臣子蒙王恩惠；贻羞的仆人遭其震怒。
The king's favour is toward a wise servant: but his wrath is against him that causeth shame.
