行为纯正的贫穷人胜过唇里乖谬的愚妄人。
走在自己的纯全里的贫穷者，他好过一个唇里歪曲又是愚蠢者的人。
行为纯正的贫穷人胜过乖谬愚妄的富足人。
Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

魂无知识的，是不善；脚步急快的，难免犯罪。
魂无知识，这也是不好的；脚步匆忙的人，他犯罪。
心无知识的，乃为不善；脚步急快的，难免犯罪。
Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.

人的愚昧扭曲他的道；他的心也抱怨耶和华。
人的愚蠢歪曲他的道路；他的心对主烦躁。
人的愚昧倾败他的道；他的心也抱怨耶和华。
The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD.

财物使朋友增多；但贫穷人邻居分开。
财富得到许多朋友；但贫穷者从他的邻居分开。
财物使朋友增多；但穷人朋友远离。
Wealth maketh many friends; but the poor is separated from his neighbour.

作假见证的，必不免受罚；说谎言的，必不能逃脱。
一个假见证人不会不受罚；说谎的人，他不会逃脱。
作假见证的，必不免受罚；吐出谎言的，终不能逃脱。
A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.

有多人求王子的恩情；爱送礼的，人都为他的朋友。
许多人会恳求王子的喜爱；每个人都是给礼物之人的朋友。
好施散的，有多人求他的恩情；爱送礼的，人都为他的朋友。
Many will intreat the favour of the prince: and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts.

贫穷人，弟兄们都恨他；何况他的朋友，更远离他。他用言语追随，他们却走了。
贫穷者就连所有的弟兄们都恨他；更何况他的朋友们会离开他走远呢？他用话语追他们，他们仍然对他缺席。

All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursueth them with words, yet they are wanting to him.

得着智慧的，爱他自己的魂；保守聪明的，必得好处。
得着智慧的人，他爱他自己的魂；持守悟性的人，他会找到好处。
得着智慧的，爱惜生命；保守聪明的，必得好处。
He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.

作假见证的，不免受罚；说谎言的，必灭亡。
一个假见证人不会不受罚，说谎的人，他会灭亡。

A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.

愚昧人宴乐度日是不合宜的；何况仆人管辖王子呢？
喜悦对一个愚蠢者是不体面的；何况一个仆人管理众王子。

Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes.

人有见识就不轻易发怒；宽恕人的过失便是自己的荣耀。

The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.

王的愤怒好像狮子吼叫；但他的喜爱却如草上的甘露。

王的忿怒好像狮子吼叫；他的恩典却如草上的甘露。
The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass.

愚昧的儿子是父亲的祸患；妻子的争吵如雨连连滴漏。
一个愚蠢的儿子是他父亲的灾难；一个妻子的争吵像持续下滴。

A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping.

房屋、财富是父辈所遗留的；一个精明的妻子是从耶和华来的。

房屋钱财是祖宗所遗留的；惟有贤慧的妻是耶和华所赐的。
House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.

懒惰使人沉睡；懈怠的魂必受饥饿。
懒惰使人进入一个深睡；一个闲置的魂要忍受饥饿。
懒惰使人沉睡；懈怠的人必受饥饿。
Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.

谨守诫命的，保全他自己的魂；轻忽己路的，必致死亡。
持守诫命的人，他持守他自己的魂；但是藐视他道路的人，他会死亡。
谨守诫命的，保全生命；轻忽己路的，必致死亡。
He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.

同情贫穷的，就是借给耶和华；他所给予的，他必偿还。
同情贫穷者的人，他就是借给了主；他给予的，他要再偿还他。
怜悯贫穷的，就是借给耶和华；他的善行，耶和华必偿还。
He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

趁有指望，管教你的儿子；你的魂不要因他哭喊而宽容。
还有希望时，就管教你的儿子，不要让你的魂因他的哭喊而克制。
趁有指望，管教你的儿子；你的心不可任他死亡。
Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.

暴怒的人必受刑罚；你若救他，必须再救。
一个有极大怒火的人会忍受惩罚；因为如果你救他，你就必须再做一次。

A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again.

你要听劝教，受训诲，使你终久有智慧。
听建议，并接受指示，使你可以在你后来的结局有智慧。

人心有很多计谋；唯有耶和华的筹算必立定。
一个人的心里有很多计谋；然而主的建议，会站立。

There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

人所想要的，是他的仁慈；贫穷人强如说谎的。
一个人的渴望是他的仁慈；一个贫穷的人好过一个说谎者。
施行仁慈的，令人爱慕；穷人强如说谎言的。
The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.

耶和华的畏惧，引向生命；有它的人必恒久满足，他必不被罪恶造访。
主的畏惧倾向生命；拥有它的人，他会一直有满足；他也不会被坏事造访。
敬畏耶和华的，得着生命；他必恒久知足，不遭祸患。
The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.

懒惰人将手藏在怀里，就是再次向口伸出，他也不愿。
一个懒惰的人把他的手藏在自己怀里，就是再次抬到他的口边，他也不愿。
懒惰人放手在盘子里，就是向口撤回，他也不肯。
A slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.

鞭打亵慢人，幼稚人必长见识；责备有聪明的人，他就明白知识。
猛击一个鄙视者，简单者就会小心；责备有悟性的人，他就会明白知识。
鞭打亵慢人，愚蒙人必长见识；责备明哲人，他就明白知识。
Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.

虐待父亲、撵出母亲的，是导致羞耻、带来责备的儿子。
使他父亲荒废和赶走他母亲的人，是一个导致羞愧并带来责备的儿子。
虐待父亲、撵出母亲的，是贻羞致辱之子。
He that wasteth his father, and chaseth away his mother, is a son that causeth shame, and bringeth reproach.

我儿，不要听那使人偏离知识言语的教训。
我的儿子，要停止听那导致错误脱离知识的话语的指示。

Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.

邪恶人作见证戏笑公平；恶人的口吞下罪孽。
一个不敬神的见证人鄙视判决；恶者的口吞下罪过。
匪徒作见证戏笑公平；恶人的口吞下罪孽。
An ungodly witness scorneth judgment: and the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity.

审判是为亵慢人预备的；鞭打是为愚昧人的背预备的。
判决是为鄙视者准备的，鞭打是为愚蠢者的背准备的。
刑罚是为亵慢人预备的；鞭打是为愚昧人的背预备的。
Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.
