   扫罗的儿子伊施波设听见押尼珥死在希伯仑，手就发软，以色列众人也都惊惶。

   当扫尔的儿子听见阿布尼耳死在希伯仑里，他的手就虚弱无力，以色列众人也都惊慌。

   And when Saul's son heard that Abner was dead in Hebron, his hands were feeble, and all the Israelites were troubled.

2. 2

   扫罗的儿子伊施波设有两个军长，一个名叫巴拿，一个名叫利甲，是便雅悯儿女、比录人临门的儿子。（比录也属便雅悯，

   扫尔的儿子有两个营长；一个名叫巴拿，另一个名叫瑞卡布，他们是本雅明孩子们，比如斯人瑞门的众子；（因比如斯也算本雅明；

   扫罗的儿子伊施波设有两个军长，一名巴拿，一名利甲，是便雅悯支派、比录人临门的儿子。比录也属便雅悯。

   And Saul's son had two men that were captains of bands: the name of the one was Baanah, and the name of the other Rechab, the sons of Rimmon a Beerothite, of the children of Benjamin: (for Beeroth also was reckoned to Benjamin.

   比录人早先逃到基他音，在那里寄居，直到今天。）

   And the Beerothites fled to Gittaim, and were sojourners there until this day.)

   扫罗的儿子约拿单有一个儿子名叫米非波设，是瘸腿的。扫罗和约拿单死亡的消息从耶斯列传到的时候，他才五岁。他的奶妈抱着他逃跑，因为跑得太急，孩子掉在地上，腿就瘸了。

   扫尔的儿子约拿森有一个儿子，是瘸腿的。当扫尔和约拿森的消息从耶兹瑞尔传来的时候，他有五岁，他的奶妈就抱起他来逃跑；这样发生了，她正在赶快逃跑的时候，他掉了下来，成了瘸子。他的名叫米菲伯塞斯。

   And Jonathan, Saul's son, had a son that was lame of his feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel, and his nurse took him up, and fled: and it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mephibosheth.

   一天，比录人临门的两个儿子利甲和巴拿出去，约在午热的时候到了伊施波设的家，伊施波设正睡午觉。

   一天，比如斯人瑞门的众子瑞卡布和巴拿出去，大约在天热的时候到了埃实伯塞斯的家，埃实伯塞斯中午正躺在床上。

   一日，比录人临门的两个儿子利甲和巴拿出去，约在午热的时候到了伊施波设的家；伊施波设正睡午觉。

   And the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, Rechab and Baanah, went, and came about the heat of the day to the house of Ishbosheth, who lay on a bed at noon.

6. 6

   他们进了房子，假装要取麦子，就猛击伊施波设的第五根肋骨下方，然后利甲和他弟兄巴拿都逃跑了。

   他们来到那里，就进到房子中间，假装要拿麦子；然后他们就重击他的第五根肋骨下方；瑞卡布和他弟兄巴拿就逃了。

   他们进了房子，假作要取麦子，就刺透伊施波设的肚腹，逃跑了。

   And they came thither into the midst of the house, as though they would have fetched wheat; and they smote him under the fifth rib: and Rechab and Baanah his brother escaped.

7. 7

   他们进房子的时候，伊施波设正在卧房里躺在床上，他们将他杀死，割了他的首级，拿着首级在平原走了一夜，

   因为当他们进到房子里的时候，他正躺在他卧室里的床上，他们重击他，并杀了他，又割了他的头，就拿着他的头，整夜穿过平原。

   他们进房子的时候，伊施波设正在卧房里躺在床上，他们将他杀死，割了他的首级，拿着首级在亚拉巴走了一夜，

   For when they came into the house, he lay on his bed in his bedchamber, and they smote him, and slew him, and beheaded him, and took his head, and gat them away through the plain all night.

8. 8

   将伊施波设的首级拿到希伯仑见大卫王，说，王的仇敌扫罗曾寻索王的性命。看啊，这是他儿子伊施波设的首级，耶和华今天为我主我王在扫罗和他的种子身上报了仇。

   他们把埃实伯塞斯的头带去希伯仑到大卫那里，对王说，看啊，王的敌人扫尔的儿子埃实伯塞斯的头，就是那寻找你的命的；主今天为我主我王在扫尔和他的种子身上报了仇。

   将伊施波设的首级拿到希伯仑见大卫王，说：“王的仇敌扫罗曾寻索王的性命。看哪，这是他儿子伊施波设的首级；耶和华今日为我主我王在扫罗和他后裔的身上报了仇。”

   And they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine enemy, which sought thy life; and the LORD hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed.

9. 9

   大卫对比录人临门的儿子利甲和他弟兄巴拿说，正如救赎我的魂脱离一切苦难的耶和华活着，

   大卫回答比如斯人瑞门的儿子瑞卡布和他弟兄巴拿，对他们说，正如主活着，他把我的魂从一切逆境中赎出来，

   大卫对比录人临门的儿子利甲和他兄弟巴拿说：“我指着救我性命脱离一切苦难、永生的耶和华起誓：

   And David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said unto them, As the LORD liveth, who hath redeemed my soul out of all adversity,

    从前有人报告我说，看啊，扫罗死了，他自以为报好消息，我就抓住他，将他杀在洗革拉，这就作了他报消息的奖赏。

    当有人告诉我，说，看啊，扫尔死了，他自以为带来了好消息，我就抓住他，把他杀在兹克拉各里，他还以为我会为他的消息给他奖赏；

    从前有人报告我说，扫罗死了，他自以为报好消息；我就拿住他，将他杀在洗革拉，这就作了他报消息的赏赐。

    When one told me, saying, Behold, Saul is dead, thinking to have brought good tidings, I took hold of him, and slew him in Ziklag, who thought that I would have given him a reward for his tidings:

    何况恶人将义人杀在他的床上，我难道不向你们讨流他血的罪、从地上除灭你们呢？

    何况邪恶的人们把一个正义的人杀在他自己家的床上？因此，现在我难道不会从你们手中追讨他血的罪，把你们从这地上除掉吗？

    何况恶人将义人杀在他的床上，我岂不向你们讨流他血的罪、从世上除灭你们呢？”

    How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon his bed? shall I not therefore now require his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth?

12. 12

    于是大卫命令年轻人将他们杀了，砍断他们的手脚，挂在希伯仑的池旁，却将伊施波设的首级葬在希伯仑押尼珥的坟墓里。

    然后大卫命令他的年轻人们，他们就把他们杀了，并砍断他们的手和脚，又把他们挂在希伯仑里的池子旁。但他们把埃实伯塞斯的头葬在希伯仑里阿布尼耳的坟墓里。

    于是大卫吩咐少年人将他们杀了，砍断他们的手脚，挂在希伯仑的池旁，却将伊施波设的首级葬在希伯仑、押尼珥的坟墓里。

    And David commanded his young men, and they slew them, and cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged them up over the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ishbosheth, and buried it in the sepulchre of Abner in Hebron.
