   KJVBehold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.

   KJVThe waters made him great, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.

   KJVTherefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth.

   KJVAll the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.

   KJVThe cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.

   KJVI have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.

    和合本所以主耶和华如此说：“因它高大，树尖插入云中，心骄气傲，

    KJVTherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;

    KJVI have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness.

    中文英皇钦定本第二版外邦人，就是列邦中强暴的，将他砍断弃掉。他的枝条落在山间和一切谷中，他的大枝折断，落在地的一切河旁。地上的众民已经走去，离开他的荫下。

    中文公认文本书集并且外人们，就是各国中的恐怖者，已经把他砍断，并离弃了他；他的枝子落在群山上和所有山谷里，他的大枝被折断，落在土地的所有河旁；这地的所有人民已经从他的荫下走了，又离开了他。

    和合本外邦人，就是列邦中强暴的，将它砍断弃掉。它的枝条落在山间和一切谷中，它的枝子折断，落在地的一切河旁。地上的众民已经走去，离开它的荫下。

    KJVAnd strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.

    中文英皇钦定本第二版好使水旁的众树不因他们的高大而尊崇自己，也不将自己的尖插入密枝当中，并且那些得水滋润的树，也不能高大自立。因为他们要和下坑的人一起，从人的儿女中，被交给死亡，到地的下面。

    中文公认文本书集到最后，众水旁的所有树都不再为他们的高度而升高他们自己，也不把自己的顶上涨到稠密的大树枝当中，并且他们所有喝水的树，也不再为他们的高度而站立；因他们都要和下坑的人一起，在人的孩子们当中，被交给死亡，去到这地的阴部分。

    和合本好使水旁的诸树不因高大而自尊，也不将树尖插入云中，并且那些得水滋润、有势力的，也不得高大自立。因为它们在世人中，和下坑的人都被交与死亡，到阴府去了。”

    KJVTo the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.

    中文英皇钦定本第二版主耶和华如此说，他下坟墓的那日，我便使人悲哀。我为他遮盖深渊，使江河凝结，大水停流；我也使黎巴嫩为他悲哀，田野的众树都因他发昏。

    中文公认文本书集主神这样说；当他下坟墓的那天，我致使了一次哀悼；我为他遮盖了深处，并且我克制了洪水，又让巨大的众水被止住；然后我致使黎巴嫩去为他哀悼，并且田野所有的树都为他而昏软。

    和合本主耶和华如此说：“它下阴间的那日，我便使人悲哀。我为它遮盖深渊，使江河凝结，大水停流；我也使黎巴嫩为它凄惨，田野的诸树都因它发昏。

    KJVThus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.

    中文英皇钦定本第二版我将他扔到地狱，与下坑的人一起下去。那时，列国听见他坠落的响声就都震动，并且伊甸的一切树就是黎巴嫩得水滋润，最佳最美的树都在地下面必得安慰。

    中文公认文本书集当我把他扔到地狱，与那些下到坑里的人们一起下去时，我使各国都听见他坠落的响声就震动；并且伊甸所有的树，就是黎巴嫩最好和精选的，喝水的所有树，都会在这地的阴部分被安慰。

    和合本我将它扔到阴间，与下坑的人一同下去。那时，列国听见它坠落的响声就都震动，并且伊甸的一切树，就是黎巴嫩得水滋润、最佳最美的树，都在阴府受了安慰。

    KJVI made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.

    KJVThey also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.

    中文英皇钦定本第二版在这样荣耀威势上，在伊甸园众树中，谁能与你相比呢？然而你要与伊甸的众树一起到地下面，在未受割礼的人中，与被剑杀的人躺在一起。法老和他的群众就是如此，这是主耶和华说的。

    KJVTo whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
